  1. Ok, here's where I got to tonight. I didn't do a Mk3 yet. I decided to finish this one. Still needs some tweaking... I still can't steer well.

Still not orbit. That will require good steering. But I still believe I can land this on the Mun. Maybe not without crashing... far far too much engine to feather it.

the only reply I have to that, is Sweet baby Jesus.

  2. each button is a direction, by the way. Dragging one part just shows the effects of going in that direction

-Green 0 is prograde, or pointing at the direction you're heading. Speeds you up

-Green 0 with X in it is retro-grade, pointing in the opposite direction you're going. Slows you down

-Purple markers are going Perpendicular to the orbit, if the line was your orbit, the ^ would be the direction

    ----------------------^----------------- for example

-the Blue marks are Vertical to whatever body you are orbiting. Pushes you away from the planet/gravity

my best advice is to just pull each one and see how it effects the orbit. Just think of it as directions of thrust

How to do them is, on the nav-ball (orange and blue ball on bottom of screen) is a blue mark, you point your rocket at this blue mark. Next to the nav-ball, is a timer. That counts down to when you hit your maneuver node, and the est burn time is how long you'll have your engines on.

  3. My Steam copy is the second time I have owned it and steam shows 175 hours clocked and I could play more if I didn't have so many other good games as well.

I'll take that as a good review haha. I'll probably start it downloading before bed

  4. alright, I want to use the RTG module with some form of consumption module (Like the probe consuming electricity) so I can have it create liquid fuel and oxidizer at the cost of electricity. I want to actually have a reason to put large solar arrays on my space station :D

  5. I recognize it. Looks like the shortened 'description' version got copied, not the full length link itself.

It's for my thread on the support forum.

(darn annoying issue to say the least)

Post on the top of page 2, by anarkhon, one bit suggesting to resize pngs down to a max of 512x512, and that 1024x1024 or bigger takes up to much memory.

Lack stated in the LLL thread to resize the pngs down to 256x256, at least for the LLL mod.

Anyway this mod could have a modified download for this?

  6. Yeah I'll just wait another two years.

The vast majority of the content I am enjoying in this game is the work of unpaid volunteers. If it weren't for them I'd probably have forgotten about this game months ago, back when they were stringing along docking ports for two or three versions straight.

The last major thing we got from Squad was in 0.18. It included docking, maneuver nodes, and the fundamental framework for resourcing. Everything since then might as well have not even have been released for as little as it matters.

If you don't like the game, you don't need to play it. How about instead of saying squad is doing bad and not fast enough, you thank them for what they have done? And .19 & .20 where both performance upgrades and visual.
