  1. There is no need to take out the card physically, just flip the PhysX switch in your driver settings. Wether its on GPU or CPU shouldn't matter, since there should be no support for HW accelerated PhysX in KSP. (And if there was, it would only be for cloth and particles, not the rigid body stuff we actually need) But it doesnt hurt to try.
  2. When they first came out i also that they had a male and female end. However, after running a bunch of carts on Kerbin into each other it turned out that you just have to rub two top ends (When you grab a new docking port, that top) together.
  3. GPU accelerated PhysX are not implemented in KSP. So an nVidia card will not give you an advantage over an Ati/AMD card. Also, generally the only things that can be accelerated this way are visuals, like clothing physics and particles, but not the general rigid body physics that are used on KSP parts. (Though this may be changed by now?)
  4. God is an Astronaut does it for me.
  5. How to pronounce .Anyway, to a Dutchman the ü is pretty much de Dutch version of 'uu' (Bascially a long 'u', the short version being like the 'u' in 'butt', the long version not being used in English as far is i can think of), which pronounced with a thick American accent would give you something like 'Muuhn' (Somewhat cow-like), which is how i pronounce it.
  6. Atmospheric physics are far from finished. Anyway, your problems mostly look like a lack of lift.
  7. Looking cooler, but that is about it. Cost isnt a factor yet, and parts arent balanced for a real campaign yet.
  8. Where is the 'There is a difference in scene loading times' option? EDIT: And KSP isnt even installed on my SSD.
  9. No, by the time Scott Manley became big i had already been playing for a while, also, i prefer text tutorials since i can do those at my own speed, instead of having to pause/rewind while playing a game. I still enjoy watching his videos though. EDIT: I did enjoy rendevous/docking tutorial though, and i think it is the best one i have seen. Short and sweet. Also, the 'This is like a huge metaphor for sex.' comment cracks me up.
  10. B. A annoys me for somewhat OCDish reasons. Also, B gives me an easier time guessing which of the ikljhn buttons does what, which i still do wrong after all this time.
  11. Didnt know that, thanks. Will be keeping it seperate for now though.
  12. That doesnt work for everyone. For example i put the KSP folder on dropbox so it easily synchronizes everything between my PC and laptop. Ill keep away from the steam version as long as possible. Anyway, the download works fine, its just a different link than the one you got in your email. Check your profile (upper right on https://kerbalspaceprogram.com/), and download it from there.
  13. This one. You can right click on an engine and see its current ISP.
  14. No rules, but when you get less enjoyment out of the game with mechjeb than without, you are better off not using it. I havent actually installed it yet since .21, but since i am rebuilding my space station and sending up similar cargo for 50 times gets pretty boring i will probably download it again, just to stop the tediousness.
  15. Not at all. Its hard to find a non-benchmark situation where RAM speed is a limiting factor.
  16. I think it works on the navball, but the onscreen target indicator seems to go on the root part.
  17. It is not exactly 3.54GB, it is dependent on the rest of your hardware. Though usually somewhere between 3.1 and 3.5 on most PCs.
  18. I noticed this as well. It makes me somewhat sad the the ant engine is useless now, i always liked it.
  19. This is made of pure magic and i love you. If i had to give 1 suggestion i would say that the fairing animation being dumped could be nicer, something like the fairings of the vanilla NERVA looks a bit nicer.
  20. I have that one in my laptop and it runs like crap, i usually edit the .cfg to get somewhat smoother FPS on Kerbin and make it look like poo. Luckily my desktop is decent.
  21. Dont redo all the work you did before in an older version, just try something new.
  22. No resources or updated drag/heat is a bit of a disappointment, though i like the crew management. I dont care about the career mode (yet), i would prefer to see the game a bit more finished first.
  23. I was so confused, trying to look for the KSP window which wasnt there. EDIT: Anyway, what was your excuse for watching this video?
  24. You could just go to a higher orbit so you have maximum timewarp. (Above 600000m for Kerbin i believe)
