  1. Anyone else notice oddities with the metallic hydrogen engines? with mix ratio of 50% Both mechjeb and the game's internal delta v says 17k in the hangar, then I load into game in a vaccum and it's suddenly down to 12.5k. Then I fire it to completion and I get 18.7k out of it. If I manually calculate out the delta v, it comes out to the 12.5k that it said when I loaded in. In the hangar Mechjeb/KSP seems to always assume the isp is 1700, no matter what mix ratio I put in, then I get into game and it starts correctly calculating ISP, but then the delta V I get out of it in the end is more than that.
  2. The vista engine has 2 oddities. 1. The amount of LH2 stored in it is immense, although this could just be balancing. 2. When scaled to 3.75m it will forget its contents on save game loads
  3. @FreeThinker Thanks for the quick fixes. My friends and I are also having a problem with the solid core nuclear engine. Below a certain fuel level the engine just stops propelling the craft. The tooltip says it's producing thrust, but the craft just won't budge. This particular craft has 3 CryoX XL tanks with LH2, as soon as all 3 get to 10k/24k LH2 the engine stops propelling the craft. If I use hyper-edit to put more LH2 in then voila it starts thrusting again. Perhaps some interaction between KSPIE and the CryoX things? Is there any particular type of fuel tank that I should be using instead? Thanks
  4. @FreeThinker I'm also getting this. Everything I've read has lead me to believe that I should be able to have a craft which is just the probe, fuel tank, radiator and the closed cycle gas core engine, but when I put that on the pad it complains about no reactors and produces no thrust. I also can't switch propellants on it, which may or may not be related to lack of a reactor.
