For confirmation: (this is a PM i sent Skunky a week or two ago) And would people who bought it on steam from the start be able to accept this offer? (Just curious, have a few friends who bought it off steam from the start)) *sigh* Yes, anyone that has purchased KSP, either in the store or from Steam, before tomorrow gets in on the deal. Most efficient 2.5m rockets
Dr. Muttonstache replied to Dr. Muttonstache's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Like I said, flying is not a problem for me at all, it's the construction of this size of part. I'll try this one, see what happens. -
101+ Impossible/stupid requests
Dr. Muttonstache replied to Richy teh space man's topic in KSP1 Discussion
This thread is all about the worst-case scenario of the future of the KSP community, people would be asking these questions seriously, and are already beginning to do so. (I shudder every time) I hope it never actually gets this bad. I really do. -
It did die off right when the Spaceship section got filled with flying furry heads thats main purpose was like facebook, thinking that people cared about what they did yesterday. Now, I do enjoy spore, but it could have been so much more, but EA obviously. Part of it was the idea that Maxis gave it trying to lean it toward the silly side, it could have easily been one of the greatest games i've ever played. On topic: I also remember WoW doing something like this, instead of rockets it was a statue of your character, and I think it was a pre-order bonus for one of the expansions, dont quote me on that. I still very much like the idea of this.

New orderables! A flyable model ksp rocket with a parachuting Kerbal! Each rocket has a 50% chance of parachute malfunction! Collect them all! Collect all of the broken pieces! It's fun! Come on, Squad, you know it would be great. I know I would buy six.

Postcards from Laythe - Cancelled indefinately
Dr. Muttonstache replied to chobit-389's topic in KSP Fan Works
I don't know logically why one would be sunbathing on Laythe, its not exactly warm there, but i'm not going to complain. I'll just accept it, and enjoy it. -

Most efficient 2.5m rockets

Is that a decoupler or an SAS module smack dab in the middle of it? Could you screen it in the VAB so I could see if I can replicate it? -
101+ Impossible/stupid requests
Dr. Muttonstache replied to Richy teh space man's topic in KSP1 Discussion
110. Voxel based terrain so whenever you fire your engines it digs out ground below you. -
97% vanilla here, only use the Chatterer mod, Docking Cam, and Mk3 cockpit internals.

Rover Design?
Dr. Muttonstache replied to Wait- Was That Important?'s topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
My standard manned rover I've deployed on most worlds. The RCS can give it a bit of boost if needed, and also features a docking port on the back if it needs to refuel its mono-propellant. This particular model shown here doesn't have the RCS in the front, but it can easily lift off the ground on the Mun, Minmus, and the like. It can safely cruise at around 20/30 meters per seconds, depending on the environment, and easily reach 60ish if going down a slope (really risky!) Just remember to lock the rear steering and middle steering, and adjust the motors/steering when necessary. It's very handy! -
Most efficient 2.5m rockets
Dr. Muttonstache posted a topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I'm extremely good at 1.25m part rockets, I have a really great design thats capable of getting a 120km-ish circular orbit. I have made quite a few 2.5m rockets (have made it to Duna, and Moho with those, very challenging, and a pain in the ass to get off the pad, many many failed attempts.) but none of them are as efficient as I'd like them to be, nor I can't build them as easily. I would like some pointers on building 2.5m rockets, not payloads, but the lifting stage itself (from launchpad to orbit) Some screenshots of them would be great, and flying tips on the particular rockets (I know how to fly, im far from new to this game, just never really ventured into the larger parts.) -

I stayed up all night playing KSP (help!) , heres what I bring to you guys today: Now: Landing on the North Polar Ice Cap of Duna for the first time, bit shaky coming down, ran out of fuel, only using RCS to slow me down :c Back legs broke and the battery, but thats it!I think the battery cushioned my landing with an explosion, got lucky there, but got there in the end nevertheless, a bit chilly and lonely over there, might send a "brave" kerbal over there to give it some hot chocolate -
Will future Expansions Apply on Steam?
Dr. Muttonstache replied to The Rocket Science Guy's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I messaged Skunky about this a few days ago. And would people who bought it on steam from the start be able to accept this offer? (Just curious, have a few friends who bought it off steam from the start)) *sigh* Yes, anyone that has purchased KSP, either in the store or from Steam, before tomorrow gets in on the deal. Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager I think he got mad :c -
Don't be that kind of person. Are you using the Demo? Could you launch multiple missions before?

Make a wish... and have it horribly corrupted!

Granted. Every rain droplet that would have been has been replaced with hail. I wish that Florida Man wasn't such a bad superhero.
