It was probably a subtle sequence of winks and nods, since we all knew it was coming. Like about 2:45 into this. I predict we’ll see a static fire before the end of the year, but flight will be January. Maybe we should start a pool on this... -

Gasp! (Puff, pant, respire) I just found one of those weird floating boulders... on Rald! Coincidence? I think not! Floating boulders are still a thing, right? Are we past tall that? Oh. Crap, I gotta get caught up. -
Yup. I find an autopilot like MechJeb is extremely helpful for those blackout capture burns. Probes Plus has a low gain with native support and really awesome range, like beyond the Mün, for those commnets.

ZOMG it’s Coral! Sometimes I’m glad I missed the 70’s... and sometimes I’m really glad. -

Great unholy flarp it just goes on and on and on! -
You can use low or high gain to commune with Kerbin at short distances, you’ll need high gain beyond the Mün, but only low gain can relay a signal between probes. So, if you have a probe landed on Duna, you’ll need an orbiter with both a high and low gain antenna to relay the lander’s signal back to Kerbin. And be sure to check “relay=yes” in the orbiter low gain’s right click menu. Or just put a high gain on your lander.

Sigh. I’ll be missing this one, too. Apparently people complain when one stops the bus to watch a rocket launch. I know, right? Ridiculous! It’s not like I didn’t put it on the PA for everyone to hear... -
Eventuallypatent pending. I started a new shift at work recently and I’m basically useless Tuesday & Wednesday, now. But my “little” add-on has just crossed the 3000 word mark on its own and not quite finished, so the whole mess will likely end up somewhere north of 6000 words when all’s said. And this stuff is good. most of it. Some of it. Probably. Maybe. Look, a squirrel!

Heh. I’ve been following this exchange via email so didn’t even see the video links, yet I knew exactly what song you meant. -

Is that... normal? That almost looked like some kind of leak from the cooling loop above the engine bell? -

Each one of these flights should be a part of your history class. And test material. Me, I slept through the whole thing. Damn... watching the footage now... I just love how they fire the engines halfway thru flipping for the boostnack burn. So Kerbal. I wonder if that helps with settling the propellants, too? and dat plume doe as it flies backwards thru it in near vacuum. -

SCIENTIFICAL LEARNINGS OF PLANET RALD FOR MAKE BENEFIT GLORIOUS USSARI UNION! Stop messing around with the title cards, Vlad! Ahem... What follows is a comprehensive review of the science data returned so far by Triti, Lodvin, Jencine, and Haylotte during their 101-day, er, tenure, on the surface of Rald. We have confirmed that life does, in fact exist beyond Gael! ...and my warrant further investigation. How much food do they have, again? What if they recycled it? Oh.

OK, asking here cuz I'm impatient: how does one go about adding/adjusting resources to a planet, as Galileo & crew have already done? Specifically, I'm trying to make oxygen & nitrogen collectible on my Rald as they are on Gael. Adding accessible water to a planet half-covered in, well, water, would be nice too.

OK quick question here, I hope. I've got a semi-custom planet. My Kerbals can walk around on the surface without any oxygen or CO2 issues, as they should. But how do I make oxygen and nitrogen available to the Atmospheric Fluid Spectro whoosiewhatis scoop? It reads Abundance: None whether set to N2 or O2.
