  1. If you are looking for realistic magnets it's the docking ports or KAS, if your looking for sci fi, only one I know is laser mod.
  2. You know, What's wrong with this? I was reading last night about how in the Gemini project the US made gelatin covered food the astronauts hated but was so there would be no crumbs in the instruments.... The russians packed a vacuum. There's the old story of nasa investing millions on a pen that works in microgravity, russians use pencils. If there is a simple solution that works, use it. Especially when you're miles above the ground with only the tools you have in a small box.

  8. Could you explain what Kp, Ki and Kd are? In terms that someone with no knowledge of planes would get, I've tried looking up PID controller and it's over my head.
  9. Lets just say Jeb stood outside my capsule when he ran out of O2 inside and I sent a rocket with a chair to retrieve him. That's actually why I stopped using this mod on my main save is I got tired of adding it to every new mod I downloaded.
  10. That would be cool but right now he appears to be following the KAS model, which is EVA only. Not sure if it would be possible to make them be movable by EVA and still movable by robot arm.

  12. I've always played with a conscience, but not really with the whole reality thing Now I'm starting to get more real about it, not ending flight on things that go bad, using ion cross, and such, and puting escape systems on my flights.
  13. Ok, I'm really intruqued by this, but I think I'm too tired cuz I'm not understanding how to use it. How do I do conditionals with this? does it have that? How do I use up a water resource if ResGen.AtmosphericOxygen and ResGen.Sunlight, and have it output food?

  21. Have to say I prefered the divided window (UDK-OB1) that's a big pane of glass for space.
  22. I have to agree, those small close fins absolutely will not work without and atmosphere, and probably not even then without active air circulation. I like the idea of a folding radiator part, I could use them for other parts as well, There's not much of a heat system in KSP right now but there are ways of making cfg for a radiator part that will pull heat from engines
