  1. Thought i'd bring a ship I posted in the Spiritwolf/Hanland Thread over here The Hanland Research and Development Team (me) is proud to present... The X-5 Assault Frigate! (Bad quality, I know ) With 8 junior docking ports for small armaments, 2 standard docking ports for large SRB missiles, and a reinforced nose section should everything else fail, the X-5 is more than a match for anything in its weight class and above. With only moderate armor plating protecting the ship, the X-5 relies on its small profile and speed when in a hostile engagement. Built to deal damage and get out fast, the X-5 is perfect for skirmishes and being the first attacker in a fleet engagement. On it's way to space... Circularization burn... Orbit! Specs: 142 parts (168 w/ launcher) ~4000 m/s delta-v fully fueled 4 Nuclear Engines 1440 Liquid Fuel 8 Jr. Docking Ports 2 Standard Docking Ports 400 Units RCS Production Blueprints available by request!

  3. I will be the odd one out begin an R&D department for the Hanland Corporation. The first design blueprints should be arriving in 2 days for their use (I just like to be different lol)
  4. Well unfortunately my current design wants to become a flying pancake and crush itself at random points during flight, never making it to space :'( will mess around with it a little more but a new concept is in the works! 200 tons of kerbal dreams WILL go to space! (Eventually)
  5. If those are all stock i'm truly amazed at how few parts you used!
  6. Right now it's at around 250 parts I believe, but it needs MOAR STRUTS! so it'll probably end up around 350ish
  7. Hopes, dreams, screaming kerbals, as long as its under 200 tons!
  8. I've been on a bit of a launcher craze the past couple days, starting with making a kerbalized Falcon Heavy rocket. Now I'm developing a 200 kerbal-ton launcher and want to know if its worth it and if others would be interested in it!
  9. Hey Harv! In an attempt to create a utility for you that is as easy to look at as it is to take it all the way to the Mun, I present the Fuel Spike (feel free to rename, i'm not good at naming ) http://imgur.com/a/ondh2 With as much fuel as a Jumbo-64 but in a much more appealing package, the Fuel Spike has 4 HOC-Height rover docking ports and 1 skycrane docking port. 39 Parts and just under 39 tons, it comes fully equipped with generators to supply the lights and probe core. https://www.dropbox.com/s/azerqmrp7s3k95q/Fuel%20Spike.craft Enjoy! -BrightBritches
  10. Something big coming tomorrow, very excited to share it when it is done
  11. I could send you a cruiser that I have, it's never been launched or even loaded though due to my computer's part limit being roughly 100 (it's around 330)
  12. So would anyone be interested in taking some of my ships into orbit and testing them? My computer runs at about 2fps with anything over 100 parts, and i just built a 324 part cruiser that was slowing my framerate in the VAB, but i'm scared to even try to load it for fear that my computer actually melts :'(
  13. The current capsule is more of a placeholder until an update (hopefully .20) gives me a better pod whos pov is parallel to it's mounting point, similar to those in the recent KSP Weekly
  14. After the conclusion of testing and final design changes being locked in, I am proud to present my first KIDI spacecraft... The XF-60-2B Frigate! Weighing in at 57 tons, having 139 parts, and highly maneuverable, this craft features full armor plating around sensitive area, 11 weapon mounts (10 small 1 large) with the space for many more if desired, and 2 new design features that have never been seen in the industry until this point, the first of which is the inline bridge. Seating 3 kerbals just forward of the center of mass, the inline bridge allows for the center of mass to be easily kept on the same vector as the center of thrust, simplifying design and generating a smaller head-on profile. The second design feature is the first ship capable of boosting itself to Military Thrust. At normal operating thrust (nuclear engines only), the XF-60-2B has a delta-v of around 5,500 m/s. When required to quickly respond to an event or in order to perform a "strategic advance to the rear", the commander has the option of firing a pair of aerospikes to nearly quadruple the amount of thrust available. With aerospikes activated however, the delta-v of the ship drops to just under 3,000 m/s, so use with caution to avoid stranding your brave frigate commanders. Any and all suggestions/comments will be accepted and taken into account during the development of any further designs Enjoy! Action groups: 1) Toggles antennas 2) Toggles Aerospikes (use with caution!) .craft file below, no launch stage because my crap computer was already on fire with just this https://www.dropbox.com/sh/q0vrkxh64ddlnkv/VBqSHMiHQI/XF-60-2B.craft
  15. Working on a frigate that will (hopefully) be a challenger to the XF-100, and will (hopefully) bring some new technology to the table. Hopefully. Looks strangely similar to the millennium falcon also lol Hopefully I can give donlokiman a little competition
  16. Busy moving the download to the Spaceport to make it more official, I'll update the original post asap
  17. I'll see what i can do, but this is the first time i've ever attempted messing around with code/modeling, so i'm still trying to learn how everthing works
  18. Puddle jumper coming eventually, the curves are hard to do :/
  19. .craft file is up in the original post, have fun!
