IF our planets are named after gods.....
llamatoes replied to Penguinhero's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Ike has to be Loki, the god if giving tricksters and giving you a bloody Ike encounter every bloody time... -
Thank you so much, now I can fit my Rovers to my lander.
-
Am I eligible, I bough in November and made the switch a few days ago?
-
And what can you only get in Tartarus, decaf Mocha lattes?
-
Sigh... I was being ironic.

Touche, but this thread has turned into a big flame war. Moral of the story, never ever use mechjeb for anything, even if you are bored.
-
Make some pasta, watch Zero Punctuation, read, make tea/coffee
-
As much as I think this thread has been the best thing to do since slicing bread, it is now getting too flamey As a great man once said
-
It depends, when you have how over many million dollars worth of spaceship up there, you don't want to end up being crashed into the ground by a human, but I digress, I think mechjeb in game is spoiling, seeing as it removes all the piloting and fun from the game.
-
That is only for Kerbal X, and anyways, its what i always do, and I was more worried about how Mechjeb was controlling the attitude of the craft in the same way as how I imagine a drunk person with the tremors would fly.
-
I gave it exactly the same flight profile as my previous launch, gravity turn 10km.
-
I seriously don't see how a competent player (i.e, me) can actually watch Mechjeb, I let it do one launch, as I couldn't be bothered to to do this one launch, as I had cocked up and accidentally ended flight, so I let mechjeb take the wheel, and I was coming very close to telling it to PLZ STAHP MECJAEB DES FEUL INEFFICENT! Mechjeb will never beat me in piloting, flying, and rendezvous skills.

What's your favorite not commonly known Kerbal?
llamatoes replied to way2smrt's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Tom kerman is my favorite, he is stupidly happy and he is a heroin Junkie. -

Is it possible to have this only affect panels and windows, as that will bend my processor over and burn it. -
KSP, the best sandbox free build physics simulation ever?
llamatoes replied to Mihax209's topic in KSP1 Discussion
KSP is the best Sandbox box game ever. Period, if you just want to build rockets, the current flight model isn't what I'd call brilliant, or even competent, but the 200 odd hours I've sunk into this chasm of a sim have not been unenjoyable. Squad, I would put on all the hats on all the TF2 players in the world, and take them all off to you. Thank you for the best use of my time since reading. -
I'm a technologically preserved 115 year old with a laser eyeball.

Manned Mars Mission and terminal illnes
llamatoes replied to Pawelk198604's topic in Science & Spaceflight
There is a bit of Titan, by Stephen Baxter where this happens, and one of the crew gets caught outside the shielded hab block during a solar flare storm, and needless to say, dies of radiation poisoning. -
Shenanigans, I made orbit in a Jet with half as many Jets, and no rocket.
-
Before we start, this isn't a rant about its a bad game, its more of a rant about how Oscar b tanks won't attach radially, and VAB logic about how things snap together, Not complaining, Alpha is Alpha, and you should see Kinetic Voids UI. what are your pet Peeves currently in KSP?

Ever used a E.V.A to push your ship out of danger?
llamatoes replied to novusuniversitas's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I used it once, to turn a close encounter to Kerbin with no fuel into a reentry maneuver. -
I have just gotten back into KSP after a month long Break, so I built some new ships. Here is the first one, which is an anlouge for the Orion Next-gen spacecraft, with an SLS launch system. Pictures On the launch pad SRB Sepped Stage Sep, launch tower jettisoned In orbit NOTES: There is a fair amount of wobble on the launch, but this is neither here nor there, it is harmless. There is something borked about the sepatrons on the second stage, which I'm unsure of what is wrong. The actual Orion craft is a bit OP on the Torque front, so fine control is a must. Craft is here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B13W1Qcyhbc5TDBDeGJyQTdhb0k/edit?usp=sharing
