  1. Made in ten minutes with Paint, look at it in all its Hipstery glory.
  2. 1. Build a series of Magic Turbine gliders 2. Add seats. 3. Ship them to my space station. 4. Use them as escape pods.
  3. Tell me about it, I was watching the Star Trek on Wednesday, and I just spent half of the climatic fall towards earth a bit of a cop out, even if they had exited lunar orbit, they would be in a high, slow, stable orbit, not plummeting towards earth at escape velocity (it looked like it).
  4. Agreed, but that is one of the most amazing things I felt in gaming.
  5. I'd say that I like the slog of KSP, call me a masochistic Stockholm syndrome case, but I think it adds all the fun, If you could just have your Space station around Jool, where would be the fun?
  6. Good luck, I am doing four more Jool missions in the same launch window.
  7. I would have to say my most dull moment was having to sit through a NERVA burn to get a full orange tank to Jool, that was dull. I'd have to say, but I had Iggy Pop to make it worth it.
  8. My space-program is all over the place, I have stations in munar and LKO, and duna and eve missons under my belt, and am planning a long-term colony trip.
  9. I do believe Scott managed to return for gilly on an EVA pack.
  10. My hardest docking was when I was coming in from above, for a triple dock, so I had a secure connection, but I didn't need it , I was accelerating at about 0.2 of a g
  11. First fuel tank Second Note the KSPX RCS module, that will not stay, that is ditched wehn both modules are docked.
  12. I have a new module + four orange tanks, and four fleas screaming towards vall for the emerald base. I had to mate the fuel/flea to the transfer stage in orbit, and then triple-dock them, before transferring them, it's four nukes for a 30 ton vessel. 15 minute burn, coming up. The transfer stage has one KSPX part on it by accident, but it will be ditched when it reaches Jool. Edit: it was cool tearing past horizon at 500m/s relative to it to daft punk's new single.
  13. I have a 707 mb part folder with 367 installed, load times of 2 minutes, I am down mods I adore, any way to reduce load times?
  14. I want that thing's babies. Imagine playing pretty much any space sim in it, my current 'cockpit' consists of a tablet, a couple of blankets, some tape and a couple of Delta Vee charts.
  15. Dammit, I'd love to do this, but my antivirus hates mediafire, could you re-host via dropbox or google drive?
  16. On the close knit group, i think i have about three friends I really can speak to and trust not to try and murder me, but other than that, not to many freinds.
  17. I have the same issue. Whenever I go To the ICT rooms, at which point I just browse the Internet, whatever I can find on YouTube. Unfortunately I am usually being elbowed by the year 7s ( 11-12 year olds) who go to the ICT room to play minecraft. They have issues, they go to school extra early to play minecraft with their friends. It's not that I'm against the life of social solitude, and I was reminded poignantly of why it seems like a nice idea is Facebook yesterday.
  18. And now I want you guys, nerd3 and dad3 in the same video
  19. So, shield your colony parts like it was going out of style.
  20. On Friday, i got back from school, did my homework, booted up KSP and went into the forums while I waited for the game to load. During that time, I realised that I had said about 50 words to anyone my own age that weren't "leave me alone, I'm trying to read" or some variation), just trying to be polite or because I had to work in a group. The people who are closest to my age who I regularly interact with are the girl I sit next to English (and might i say she is butcher than me, but that's. It saying something), my biology teacher, who is 24, and Nerdcubed. But he dosen't count. I still speak to adults socially, but I just can't speak to people my own. I am currently 15, but when i started at secondary school, at 11, I made quite a large group of people I talked to, but now I just don't. I don't share any Intrests with them. Should I be worried?
  21. Possibly, but if Laythe is tidally locked, I'm pretty sure a bloody great moon can stop most of the radiation, so if you built your base. The far side, would you still be alright?
  22. If we scale it up by 10, it is to small a difference to be really too different, and KSP is smaller by ten.
  23. Two things, when you reach a certain point, sattilietes start popping up, and as you progress further in advancing the kerbal's space flight skills, it becomes more common place, until Lko is a mass of spacestations, sattilietes and other thigs. Other than that... Explosions I would also like rainbows, but not real rainbows, I would like to be able to fly under rainbows, or even better, reentry routing a rainstorm, and as the flares die down, the clouds part and a double rainbow appears.
  24. Let's look at Laythe objectively, yes it has water (or Kerbal equivalent), and oxygen (Kerbal equivalent), but it's rubbing noses with a gas giant. That can't be good for your rad count, and I'm pretty sure the tides a gas giant would make would be rather large, not to mention the volcanic activity would create. Ether Laythe has a magnetosphere you could fly one of the Vanus' aircraft around, or developers haven't implemented radiation yet.
