    Aerobraking is a little problem. The challenge to bring Roche to Kerbin only allows aerobraking if the asteroid is shielded, and i don't know if the large tank is big enough to do that.

    How much DeltaV do you roughly need from 100 km above Eve to 100x100km Kerbin Orbit? Currently my ship has only 1500m/s left.

    The old plan was to have the Altair and the Orion launched on different missions. Altair first then Orion then both dock in earth orbit. The plan for Orion was originally to use it for station ferry flights too.

    Keep in mind that BobCat is making the old Orion which was to be send to the ISS.

    The Vega has a gimballed nozzle driven by electric motors, the first of it's kind. The other engines have hydraulic driven gimbals.

    The Engine with the column works very good for me, even with heavy payloads under strong acceleration.

    The newest update solved my problem, thanks nyrath Edit: i just noticed how massive the parts now are. Very hard to control.
