I use Mech Jeb all the time, I find the the accomplishment from actually building something that can actually get into space or a Planet. I can manually fly a ship into Space & land a pod back on Kerbel, but have never really got the hang of manually setting the nodes to Orbit Kerbel after trying loads I just end up with it ending in disaster when my ship comes crashing down prematurely. I also find it essential for Orbiting as the Orbital Operations Altimeter is more accurate than the stock Altimeter. Roland
I'm running it on a Toshiba C660-15R Notebook: Intel Celeron 900 2.20GHZ CPU, Mobile Intel GM45 Express Graphics Card, 4GB of RAM 3.7GB available to System rest used by Graphics & Ubuntu 13.04 x64 and it runs perfectly fine (in fact the paid version runs faster & smoother than what the demo did) Roland
Are there any Addons available for building Satellites other than the MapSat addon? I'm particularly interested in ones for making TV Satellites. Roland
Thank's. I'll post my story later, but I've been posting it on it's own facebook Page as a backup just in case anything goes wrong with the forums again. Roland
I tried to Auto Land a Shuttle using MechJeb 0.19 which ended rather badly as the Auto Land brought the Shuttle down like a lander causing it to get destroyed and the 3 man crew coming to a rather fiery death. Is it possible to use Auto Land on a Shuttle or is it better to manually land with SAS or ASAS? Roland
The last one deleted my account, but this one didn't. I've started putting my story of the Great Kbritain Space Agency on its very own facebook page, don't fancy putting it on here then a crash causing it to get lost. Roland
I'll be posting my story of The Great Kbritain Space Agency on its very own facebook Page. I'd post it on here but I would hate to build up a large story and loose it all if the forums go down again. http://www.facebook.com/GreatKbritainSpaceAgency Roland
I've also noticed, not sure if it's the same for Mac but My Notebook running Ubuntu doesn't meet the system requirements stated and runs fine. I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 x64 with a 2.20GHZ Intel Celeron 900 CPU 4GB of RAM, 3.7GB available to the System with the rest being used by the Integrated Mobile Intel GM45 Express Graphics card. Roland
Saw it on Youtube & Googled Kerbal Space Program, bookmarked the Page, but didn't try the .19 Demo until I moved from Windows 8 Pro to Ubuntu, got hooked on it and bought the full game about a week or saw later. Roland
I've landed a 1 man lander on the Mun (unfortunately Mechjeb took it on its self to land it on the Dark side of the Mun though), had a slight accident with my Shuttle that was orbiting Kerbin when it crashed on landing killing all three Kerbanoughts that were on it & just yesterday landed a 1 man lander on Minmus. I'm now currently trying to work out how to start putting my Mun Base together. Roland
I've lost everything. Luckily I didn't have anything like stories posted. But it's a bummer that I've got to start from scratch. Note to mods, backup the forum every month so that people that have put a lot of work into writing stories etc don't loose everything. Roland
