  1. He hungers for all kerbals
  2. I dont see a problem with it considering how limited we are in parts and ability to design craft. Think about airplanes, they store their fuel in their wings, not large bulky cylindrical tanks on their wings(drop tanks dont count) or in the middle of their fuselage.
  3. Dont think its possible to build a shuttle style craft that carries a payload and is capable of gliding to a landing with our engines/physics. I tried using my design(even had it so i jettisoned the spent fuel tanks) and it still couldnt do it.
  4. Why havent the wobbly medium struts been fixed? Pls fix before you release .21.
  5. Cant say the door design is my own(though I refined it a little); http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/39481-new-motorized-hinge-system-now-with-a-cargo-spaceship-and-a-MK3-cargo-bay Put about 20 hours into it so far or so and just about done. Just need to work on rocket to launch for it before I post the .craft.
  6. You should 24-77s to counter the drift instead of tons of rcs + thrusters(Its what I use for my shuttle rocket). Much simpler and reduces part count a ton.
  7. 100% stock with working bay doors; idea of payload capacity;
  8. Sup http://www./download/ajny8583sq4uyb9/Moon_base.craft
  9. Nice. I used two pylons to make a single door as well for my shuttle. How did you get the locking clamp o trons to recouple after the first opening? Ive tried lots of different alignments and they never recouple after the first opening. Almost finished with my shuttle. Just need to finish the booster rocket design and fix fuel flow.
  10. Refined it even further; Use clipping to stack the tanks in the rear so that 1 = 4.
  11. Dont think that is really feasible on a spacecraft. Jet fuel and engines would eat up valuable space and weight. Refined it a bit;
  12. You have any issues with the struts breaking? In this design the cargo bay is not nearly as large as your original, but underneath that floor are enough fuel to provide 2800m/s or so of delta v. Even still, has more than enough room for 1.5m parts and with my redesigned layout allows for larger payloads(hinges at the ends v middle of door). As is part count is 189, but still needs more work/parts.
  13. Excellent design and work. Ive went ahead and reversed engineered it a bit;
  14. Was that designed by Africans?
  15. Simple, extremely well balanced stock vtol I whipped up. Gotta watch the initial take off if using just the lift engine, as just leaving the lift engine on causes some weird stability issues but once you get going the stability issue vanishes. 1 toggles flight engine 2 toggles lift engine http://www./?js757d90mnr52uj
  16. Mun Tower; Completed shielded from elements and self contained. Powered by 32 RTGs and has space for 64 kerbals The garage has two docking ports for securing any rovers you wish to operate from it(as is specifically designed for DEMV mk4). The garage attached to the decoupler is designed to be decoupled upon landing, its only used to balance the center of mass during flight. Has multiple sets of lights all which can be toggled via 1-7 hotkeys. The rocket could probably use a lot of tweaking, as when I landed this thing I bad no fuel.
