  1. Youre saying its reasonable its taken them 3 1/2 years to recreate KSP 1 in it's .1 but VERY buggy state? [snip]
  2. Yeah, its management's fault the devs cant produce something *playable* after 3 1/2 years.
  3. The absolute irony of your avatar and this post.
  4. What in the history of the development of KSP2 gives you any faith that KSP2 will become what the dev's said it was or would be 2-3 years ago? In the real world we have seen nothing but broken promises and a woefully buggy barebones "EA" KSP2 delivered that is absolutely nothing at all like was talked about prior to its release. Complex? KSP2 at this moment is essentially KSP 1 when it was at it's .1 state. And this is after 3 1/2+ years of development. You are acting like they are developing a new MMO to compete with WoW or FF.
  5. Only been playing them since before the internet existed.
  6. You dont release triple a games to early access.
  7. If theyre so passionate why is the end result of 3 1/2 years of dev time? And more to the point, how "passionate" someone is about something isnt important for the end result of a commercial product. They promised X and charged Y for it, the outcome should be based upon whether those two variables align, not how "passionate" they where. Once they delayed the game 3 times it should have been obvious you where never getting the KSP2 you wanted. End result of this is going to be some bug fixes and 1-2 content updates over the next year before all development is ended.
  8. KSP2 has nowhere near the graphical fidelity or environmental mechanics for 30fps at 4k on a 3070 to be acceptable just driving around ksc. But we get it, for everyone glaring issue that shouldnt be an issue youre just going to handwave it away as "EA". And a year from now when this game is still in horrible shape youll be wondering what happened.
  9. 30fps at the launch pad is atrocious performance for a 3070.
  10. So you like paying for the privilege of being unpaid quality assurance? This is why games keep turning out like this,.
  11. No way tell me it isnt so! Who could have imagined KSP2 would turn out like this?! This is some dellusional levels of cope. Its not about the specific FPS, its about does the game perform at the appropriate level considering its fidelity and your hardware. Its very indicative of overall quality of programming of the game and to ignore is simply idiotic.
  12. Does KSP2? No it doesnt. Its "promised" that it will be added at some later date that the devs have zero idea when that will be. Shockingly at their little "launch" expose, a dev said they dont an actual plan for delivering the promised content that was cut. They will focus on whatever the community wants the most, see this;
  13. I dont need to be a software to see how long this has been in development v whats been promised v whats been delivered to see this has gone very badly. What is there to be impressed about? Every major feature they talked about has been cut and is now up in the air and nothing more than a promise it will be delivered. KSP2 "EA" is nothing more than a basic early .2-.3 version of KSP. That is not impressive in 2023 and 3+ years of dev time.
  14. Ok. So after 2 1/2ish years of development all they have to show is essentially KSP1 at its .3 state. Thats abysmal output of content in that length of time. And its not like theyre starting from scratch, they have the entirety of KSP1 to work off of and use as a basis for KSP2. Name me a game that spent 6+ years in development that wasnt an absolute horror show. The most recent example of this is Cyberpunk 2077, and that game was absolutely horrendous at launch and 2+ years later it still has a distinct lack of polish.
  15. That might make some sense if this was 6 months from announcement to release but in case youve forgotten its been 3 1/2 years since KSP2 was announced. I really dont understand why so many here are making every excuse in the world for a product that has every red flag possible.
  16. Ill let you in on a secret; KSP2 is releasing as "early access" right now because Take Two promised share holders last year that KSP2 would launch Q1 2023(Q4 2023 in TT's accounting methods) . Its released under the guise of "early access" because it fulfills that corporate obligation yet also allows them to deflect any criticism or complaints about lack of content because its "early access". This is straight from their Q4 2022 conference call released on March 31st, 2022; https://ir.take2games.com/static-files/764e4e40-ee2c-4f60-83ab-b05c98df0c6d
  17. Because its the most obvious thing to see thats been cut without having to play the game? Its not specifically about the graphics. Its about showing X feature, saying X feature is going to be in the game then here we are about to release and all the sudden X feature isnt anywhere to be seen. If they are cutting graphical fidelity what else are they cutting? Its a game delayed by nearly 2 years and delayed 3 times, thats a very worrisome sign. Not caring that these companies happily lie to you is why games continue to be released like this.
  18. What an absolute joke. They delay the game multiple times for 2 years and finally kick it out the door stripped of all the advertised features as "early access". Why cant people see the painfully obvious grift?
  19. If the game was so close to release they shouldnt have a problem producing content that reflects what will be released. 2-3 yeas ago they showed a "pre alpha" product that had significantly more graphical fidelity than what weve been seen the past month or two in the run up to release. That should make you start asking some questions, not making excuses but from my browsing on here a huge amount of people are doing everything they can to explain the very clear warnings signs weve seen about KSP2.
  20. Yes my post with zero foul language, derogatory comments or offensive language is really indicative of me being mad.
  21. Yeah thats what happens when you cant astroturf your social media. Anyone who is still interested in this game after being insulted with a "early 2023" release date after waiting through 2 years of delays is a fool.
  22. So uh why does everything weigh so much?
  23. excellent. My KSP experience isnt complete with B9.
  24. Was there ever a fix for rotation parts going past rotation limits? Like you set it to 90 but it stops at 91 or 92. essentially this;
  25. Issue; Wings quickly become bugged and not able to attach to anything after a certain amount of deformation. Not only that but entire SPH becomes bugged and I am unable to select or place any other parts. Only fix is to start new but the bug quickly happens again. 32bit version.
