Oh, I see, thanks.

I set up a relay constellation of four satellites in geostationary orbit around Kerbin armed with two HG-5 antennas each, however a probe on 200 km orbit around Kerbin armed with communotron 16 aren't able to talk to them. What exactly am i doing wrong? Here is a picture:

Every (well, almost) surname is grammatically correct. Yeah they kind of grammatically correct but they (almost all) makes no sense =) I'll look up config and code sometimes later this weekend to figure something up, add some more names and surnames (and obviously the thing we call "otchestvo" as it's kinda means a lot then you talk about slavic names), and it is actually possible to take things on the other level, soviet space program was "international" after all (there was not a lot but some cosmonauts from all around soviet union and allied countries (there was even one cosmonaut from Afghanistan)), of course if sir regex has no issues with it =)

[1.3.1] Ferram Aerospace Research: v0.15.9.1 "Liepmann" 4/2/18
Volodyuka replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Ok, i have a very strange request, is it ever will be possible that most of the instrumentation (like IAS and EAS, Stall and High dynamic pressure redouts) and tweakables for control surfaces will be available as a stand alone for stock? Cause i kinda like stock aero in 1.0 but i grown used to all this little things like possibility to tweak control surfaces or to see your speed in kph EAS...- 14,073 replies

Really like kerbal re-namer but, is there a way to differ female surnames from male surnames? Because Cyrillic surnames (not all of them but most of them) differs in spelling and pronunciation slightly depends on gender so Julia Alexeyev is, erm, alternative gender person as she|he has name supposed to be feminine, but surname is for a male, so our brave female cosmonaut should be named as Julia Alexeyeva. sorry if I write it in a way that is hard to understand =)

Kasper sits in admin panel, whatever it is supposed to mean =)
-
you suggested that KSP will update at 6pm CDT and that is early morning 28th for me...
-
I hope you are wrong and it'll be around 2pm cdt as usual
-
pretty much sure release will be after 6 more hours than this prediction =(
-
It is safe to assume that release will be about midday-2pm cst, so it is a long wait still.
-
Yeah, you can calculate all of it, but it'll make whole experience a lot more tedious and boring (and i tell you that through experience) and i love my KSP experience to be fluid and reasonably fast, so KER is the most sane option.

IMHO the problem is not SAS or engine re-balancing, or new aero, or whatever, but in fact an inability to use brains that seems to be caused by over excitement and lack of proper preparations. Most of the host that i saw up to the point just slap some rocket together slam launch and turn thrust to 100% which is in more or less real world are not the brightest things to do with rockets. Because with rocket you should have a certain amount of carefulness and finesse, you shouldn't over-stress construction by going to fast or by doing extreme maneuvers. ALSO there is an oblivious and irritating lack of a thing which is called Kerbal Engineer Mod, how the hell do you supposed to launch rocket not even knowing TWR and dV? so yeah, it's a problem with hosts and with lack of basic and necessary information about craft (for all I know I do not care how much my rocket weight is or how big it is, but I really need to know her (yes for me it's always 'her') possibilities).

Ore drilling/fuel refining in 1.0 : a built-in cheat, or not a cheat?
Volodyuka replied to tjsnh's topic in KSP1 Discussion
You still has sandbox mode, and it had sliders too. Neither the less this whole discussion is a VERY stupid one, ISRU is a working conception, in fact it is technologically possible today, and have it in game as option (you can not use any of the parts in career/sandbox anyway, as you can previously go pass a lot of parts and never use them). In fact the next step, that are in works today, is 3D printing of equipment in zero-g, and creating new ways to 3D printing, so it be possible one day (decades in the future) to have manufacture in space. So IMO ISRU is a good addition to game that makes it more interesting in the department of planning long missions and space infrastructure (minmus/mun bases and space stations in orbit, launching missions to produce fuel prior to manned mission and etc.) So stop whining. -
yeah, and also for some people (me for example) fun lays in perfectionism =)
-
actually that crossword migh be the case of solving the problem alternative way =)
-
but then who the hell is 12D???
-
ok, that i compiled and figured out myself: 3h: Carpenter, 4v: Atkov, 1v: Tereshkova, 2v: Jahn, 5h: Kanai, 7h: Armstrong, 7v: Aldrin, 10h: Lu, 11h: Hedfield, 8v: Shepard, 9v: Ride, 16v: Glenn, 19h: Leonov, 18v: Revin. not sure for 16h: Gagarin, 17v: Reiter as IDK who migth be 12v... ALSO to mention if 12v Guidoni then there is no russian surname ending on d...

Squadcast Summary for 2015-04-18 - Picture Perfect Edition!
Volodyuka replied to HafCoJoe's topic in KSP1 Discussion
and you will probably have a lot of parts in it... so yeah, better install procedural fairings mod. -
Not only a longer runway needed, but also an air brakes and turboprops for "mark 1" planes. (I really want to made Tupolev tu-95 strategic bomber replica...)

[1.0.4]Better Buoyancy v1.4 - obsolete as of 1.0.5; 7/29/15
Volodyuka replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
ok tried this and new FAR and after sometime (float on the jet boat and leave it in the ocean, and then turns to making hydroplanes) FAR stop working, water turned into jello and kerbals start to sink to the bottom of ocean, that was hilarious but kinda pointless as i remembered that i turned logs off long time ago, i try to replicate it some time later tomorrow with logs on. PS thanks for the awesome new addition to the mod list, jet boats really funny to drive. -
[1.0.5] Atomic Age - Nuclear Propulsion - Red Hot Radiators
Volodyuka replied to Porkjet's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
well Mr. Porkjet, i have a question to ask, did you use density based setup for fuel switch, or just guesstimate numbers? (I am asking because I used to believe that density of LF = density of Ox) -
x64 for me has problem with loading (crushes on transition from KSC to vessel) with almost every flight aid that use they own windows (steam gauges, nano gauges, DPAI), and with x32 it's all fine and working, so yeah, definitely x64 problem, and as i presume it's not a problem with mods or KSP but with Unity, and it is really sad =(

well, i say resources, and in the complicated way, to make mining operations challenging. now you have kethane, it is just one resource, from which you can make all the types of propellants, and it's boring, you just land extractor, processing unit and lander, which can take as more propellants in orbit as possible. but if you has multiple resources, and multiple refinery solutions (and maybe a 3d-printer for parts, buildings for bases and even rockets) you have not exactly trivial challenge, to mine, gather in one place, refine and store, and if it will bound by contract - to make all that as cost effective as you can make it. and that for multiplayer. well i played minecraft, this game 'bout creativity as much as KSP is, and one of the most favorite things to do for most of the players? exactly - to grief others creations. and i don't really want this in KSP, especially taking the fact, that KSP is really slow-paced game, you need many time to plant a flag on different planet, to build station in orbit, to build a base, and when look at some *bad man* destroying it. also i'd like the fact that KSP is single player game.
