any hints or tips for designing frigates, corvettes, dreadnoughts, battleships and carriers? i have them visually conceptualised, and given up on designing fighter/bombers atm, and just in the process of editing my combat satellite footage; so thought id ask for what people suggest? -

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant I need to test its armour penetration value, if that makes it clearer, my satellite would prob be knocked out by a kerbal on Eva... But its smallish -

I'm not the best designer, and even worse player haha, but I gotta get started on my capital ships and fighters. I started the weapons system and ended up with satellite drones, designed go be dropped in an orbit and become autonomous, they seem to work well. Just need to test it in vacuum against armour Work and life keep getting in the way lol -

i wasnt going to post, as i like all of them, but personally id like to see the level ramp lowery one (as from the look of things, the one that lowers to an angled ramp, doesnt have any room for the rover/vehicle, so either ur dropping on an angle, or when u open itll slide out lol) and i like the idea of the ones that slide internally for other uses (satellites, base storage, powergen shells etc) but i like the idea of the unattached doors (obviously if they were attached) as well... if i simplify what i mean in a list order of what i like it would go (assumin unattached doors as one): A) 4 & 6 1 & 5 C) 3 As i assume 2 is the container when closed. Edit: I like the A's

22 here, though i have the mentality of a 12, never was very good at physics (doing a microbiology degree, i haven't really needed it since A-levels) but gotta say, i feel ksp has taught me a lot; guess its cause i like the teacher this time i wonder though, has there been a gender poll?

Also not what he said, he stated that players would have to decide what constitutes a fighter, frigate, etc, and agree whether its based on tonnage, size, capacity etc

I believe he is talking about a rule set using stock items between friends. But standardising them on the forums, so that anyone can play if they want. He's not asking for dedicated weapons or multiplayer... Afterall macey dean. The example he gives, Is all stock, and just used a persistence save, like the IYSS and IYMSS do

Well, hoc, pleb, skunky and pd played payday as the ksp media group, and pdtv recently added his module to the IYMSS, having named some of his kerbals after some youtubers in the group, maybe its just an unofficial name for any ksp YouTubers then

I've heard a few YouTubers i watch refer to themselves or others as the KSP Media Group; so i thought as we had had an update on the Development Team; could we also have an update on whose in this media group? Unless i have been stupid; and either there is one, or its not an "official" group, but just KSP YouTubers/live streamers in general.

Why do kerbals speak in gibberish but write in English?

Maybe their pronunciations are just different, but the writing is the same (I'm thinking about how the Welsh pronounce their words when it just looks like gibberish...) Or its conveniently translated so most people can understand it -
using a one man cockpit or command pod to control vehicles; buzz tower at ksc2, plant a flag on minmus and circumnavigate any crater (smallest unless you want to be a show off) on the mün (must be a manned rover) objectives can be completed in any order, but must use the same command pod (so modular plane/rocket or SSTO with something to dock with in orbit; unless you can find a loophole) in addition to landing it at KSC, real life time race (time warp allowed, and QS only in stable orbit or landing) rendezvous modules (orbiting or terrestrial, but not in the moons soi's) allowed to be set up beforehand.

Cool. Thanks. If I remember, I was gonna post up an image of my new mining rig, which uses more or less you parts exclusively (except some utilities and the kethane drills) this is one of the best part mods and I'm excited to see what u and ember, etc come up with in the future

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but are there any more 1x1 parts like rcs tanks planned? I was trying to make a vehicle out of the 1x1 tanks that had its own engines, but the rcs is only 2x1
