Just looks like the difference between old Elvis and young Elvis. Nothing feminine to me about either of them.
-
Then you have failed to educate her on why it shouldn't be important rather than reinforce the opinion that there is some sort of discrimination in play because they don't exist.
-
Forced diversity is nothing more than another form of discrimination. Certainly a lesser form than traditional racism or sexism, but discrimination nonetheless.
-
In the Kerbal Universe, there are no races. There is no inequality. There is no discrimination. All Kerbals were created equal to be judged solely by their individual performance and accomplishments. They have three characteristics: Courage, Stupidity, and Badassitude. A truly open mind would recognize this and not try to impose the flawed characteristics of our human society in a universe where these issues do not exist. Shame on anyone who wishes to destroy that.

Remember that fuel and oxidizer have vastly different volumes and masses per unit. It's not a 1:1 swap and even if they did allow it, you probably wouldn't gain much additional liquid fuel in trade. BUT, what the current implementation does allow is for you drop the excess oxidizer you don't need. You still have a full tank of liquid fuel, you just have shed the excess mass you don't need increasing overall performance due to the lighter weight of the craft.

I think the current implementation is just fine. It seems counter productive to introduce a super configurable tank which then eliminates all other tanks by virtue of flexibility. At least now you have the option of dropping any excess weight (surplus oxidizer) should you be so inclined. It also seems like a poor craft design choice to launch an empty tank. If the tank isn't carrying fuel for the mission, it's dead weight which would require a second tank to carry the fuel to to launch it in the first place. Then you have to have some sort of method for filling it up later. Why not just use an empty structural fuselage in the first place and be done with it?

FAO Squad: Someone's claiming your in-game music as their own!
BubbaWilkins replied to mod1982's topic in KSP1 Discussion
It appears that Emily Taylor used the same source as background music and then overlayed it with a track of Bamboo Wind Chimes. Tell CD Baby to get bent. -
Aerobraking lifts Ap? Bug?!?
BubbaWilkins replied to kurja's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I believe what you are seeing is that gravity and atmospheric losses are combining in such a manner as to shape the orbit in a more parabolic arc around the PE. This forces the AP further out, but makes the orbit more oblong and and the overall orbital path shorter in the same process. -
An observation of the effects of flights in progress
BubbaWilkins replied to RTS321's topic in KSP1 Discussion
It covers all craft/debris so that they will be correctly shown on the map screen at all times. -
What's the Point of this sub forum?
BubbaWilkins replied to TADBTD's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
OP: The Do not Suggest list consists of two types of things: 1) Stuff that was deemed good and will eventually be implemented....or 2) Stuff that was deemed not in line with their goals and discarded. In either case, they've been posted/discussed to the point that there is no reason to allow them to be posted about further. -
Adjust your wings so that your CoL is just behind the CoM. In many cases the two indicator nodes will overlap quite a bit. It may take some trial/error to get it right with FAR. Secondly, make sure you set your control surfaces up in FAR. Third: Ease the throttle up on take off and use the trim to adjust and stabilize your level flight.

Shuttles completely escape me...
BubbaWilkins replied to Tassyr's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Step 1) design a shuttle that actually flies on its own. Example: Step 2) Slap some tanks and boosters on it! Asymmetrical designs are much tougher, but still doable. -
Longer runway?
BubbaWilkins replied to Daniiren's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
The runway is already plenty long. Try adjusting your landing path so you actually hit the start of it while flying at near stall speed. Landings should generally take less distance than taking off. -
Everytime after an update, I go through this cycle.
BubbaWilkins replied to NASAFanboy's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Have you planted a flag at every anomally? And returned all those Kerbals back to Kerbin? I've spent months, literal months, just designing and flying different aircraft around Kerbin. Exploring the Mun took me a full month of missions. -
I've used the Rollkage since the 1st day you made it available for all rovers and vehicles. Same with the wheels. You should update these to fit in the tech tree as well.

I think Procedural wings has your variable length/angle parts covered already. That was what I used to realize the proper look of my Corsair here: And because biplanes are fashionable: I'm just now unlocking the parts in career mode, so hopefully will be recreating my full fleet soon for a group picture.
