[1.1] BDArmory v0.11.0.1 (+compatibility, fixes) - Apr 23
Valdon replied to BahamutoD's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Baha, I downloaded the update and at first there was no change, so I started a new game and starting adding peices one at a time to see if I can track down the issue, and I think I found it. It seems the AI plane I have sitting near the runway, that is set with autopilot on, guard mode on, and on standby, when it becomes active (get within the 3.5km load distance for ground vehicles on the default 5km setup) is when I lose control of my plane, which does not have the ai module on it. I will upload a video of it later tonight. I have no other mods installed and the two planes (one grounded on guard, and mine flying) were the only craft loaded. -

I think I found a bug, I have a Guard plane and radar/missle station at the KSC on team A, with physics at 7KM, and guard range around 4-5km (tried it at 10KM as well), I launch a new place on Team A, run out past the physics distance, turn to team B, turn back and when I get within range, everything is fine and working correctly, guard plane is launching, and radar/missle station is locking on, but as soon as I launch a missle, and I tried with different ones, I am no longer able to control my plane other than throttle, staging and launching, but no attitude control and eventually crash or get shot down. -

I like the thumbnails, but they seem a bit small, there anyway to have them open up in a larger window if you select the ship in question? -
We do know one change, the added IVA's.

How about this little beauty of a bomber. Still in development/optimization and testing, but currently is only equiped with 8 countermeasures (will be fully outfitted with 16 when done), has 10000+ units of fuel capacity, and can carry 108 mk80's. Part of the testing will be other deployment packages as well as possible missles if for nothing more than target distractions for any anti-missle defenses. She's a bit slugish and about as agile as a drunk elephant, but can put a hurting on ground targets

The VAB can indeed be taken out by a single medium SRB, if hit in the right spot. (video will be posted a little later). -
Here is what I think will be the final vehicle.

The trailer does turn, when I get it finalized I will post a video of it in action.

Here are some preliminary shots of my entry the King Kab heavy hauler. weighs in at 18.5 tons dry, 20.2 tons with the two rcs tanks, it does include sleeper cab for those long hauls. (pod torque is disabled). So far tops out at about 21m/s with or without trailer.

Explorer 1 out on a test run before final fit out with landers.

If you build it, they will die......in a glorious ball of fire.

Greetings my fellow space flight enthusiasts. I have been enjoying the demo for sometime now. The engineers in the space center keep submitting proposals for more research funding, but alas are being denied. But there is hope that soon funding may become free to be appropriated to R&D. But in the mean time they have managed to do fairly well, including several successful missions to the Mun and back, including an emergency rescue mission. And there is promising research and experimentation on atmospheric capable vehicles, though they do have a limited range and not so pleasant landings. Again the need for more money for research needed to make a suitable landing gear for such an endeavor they keep telling me, but the flights are fun. Here are a couple shots, the first, the reason for the rescue mission, though the pilot did get a nice view of the sun rise from the Mun, including an eclipse. And the subsequent building and landing of the rescue lander. And the Falcon series of craft, starting with the Falcon 1, then Falcon 2, which had an increase in range and stability, and finally the Falcon 2 XRV which is orbit and return capable (as well as longer surface range for exploration).

Doing Aurora's brings up other possibilities, such as solar storms that could effect vehicles in space.
