  1. My last config just crashed into the land. Landing is still impossible.(im deploying it with parachutes now) new configuration. Everything seems alright. weight is at center. im locking the gimbal of the engines and deactivating the remote module for the flight now.
  2. I reconfigured. The plane starts to drift again at about 60-70m/s, at which point i just throttled up and tried to get that thing from the ground. I was surprised it worked. And not even that, the liftoff knocked off the last tank (with the tail fin and the avionics package)..i still had some autopilot from the remotetech. its currently flying. i think the remotetech SAS and the avionics maybe contradict themselves and create the freak out?
  3. 5 dead Kerbals later, i can say that didnt do much. Now i can't even get off the starting ramp. Now, i tried something whilst waiting for answers..and i am not happy with my findings. Every stock plane i modified with Dishes, solar, batpack and the remote control will have this hefty punch the moment of luiftoff, taht knocks them to the left (sometimes right) and tears off several parts of the plane. Now, if i remove the parts i added (so its basically reverse engineered back to the stock-form) has the same thing now. Edit: to be clear, i added those extra control surfaces because of the freak out (and it didnt better or worsen the situation), at first i just placed the remotetech parts there without really altering the plane.
  4. ah yes, the avionics. Yeah, i tried other stock planes and the avionics behaved quite well. On this thing though, it just takes control, meaning i cant steer the plane, it will just go the same direction as before, but i need to completely disable the package to do anything. I'm thinking it may has something to do with the remote probe and a manned cockpit on one ship, but i took this away too and it still spazzed out.
  5. So, with remotetech, i wanted to position some dishes on ciritcal points around kerbin. Since i am still a sucker with getting into the right orbit path to land on a specific point, i turned to planes. They fly where i want them, land and ill just leave them there. I used the stock plane Aeris 4 and modified it accordingly: So the problem here is, that right from the start, the plane gets a hefty punch to the left and explodes if i thrust at full speed. if i do get past this constant left-drag and actually get up in the air, it behaves nice. until i turn on the SAS (the kill rot control that looks like a shuttle nose) The plane then starts spazzing out like an epileptic cthulhu, making it unstearable. You can't see it in the screenshot, but the flaps are actually UP and Down at the same time. landing this thing is impossible. Any suggestions?
  6. The clipping thing is funny, though, as some Stock Planes are put together ignoring clipping.

The problem is that most DLC is designed to sell stuff that couldve been in the game from the start or bought achievements for perfectionist (like Space Marine, that says in the game that there is an energy sword available, but only thrugh DLC, and it is purely cosmetic). There has also been the Bioware-Day 1-DLC fiasco, that fixed the ending post release. DLC should be nowadays handled like Expansion Packs, imho. When we bought KSP, we got it much cheaper than i think the final version would be ( i seriously think the finished product would get in on around 60 bucks, with around 70% of the planned features from that list:http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Planned_features), because we are also kind of alpha and later, beta testers. Now DLC for KSP should, imho, be more like expansion packs. Like: More solar systems/mineable ore, and of course according parts for long distance travel. I'd gladly pay for that. DLC should not be that one rocket with 3000kN and an Isp of 8000.
  8. Visceral IV was the first Probe to orbit the mun. Visceral V was the first rover zu safely make it there. It took about 7 Visceral V's to for this one to succeed. I always feel underwhelmed when i see it.
  9. doesnt remotetech come with a flight computer that can do maneuvers?
  10. if i get some command stations out there, +5 minute delays won't happen ( but i think even 10 seconds are gonna cost me some nerves)
  11. Hello there, kerbonauts! I found KSP on steam and got totally hooked on it. A great and refreshing game concept. ( i didn't quite believe that it was an alpha-state version). To get a thing out of the way first: English is not my native tongue, so if i get sentence fragments confused, use impossible conditionals and stuff like that, feel free to correct me in a constructive way.(i don't think it's gonna be a problem) Several probes are orbiting, a probe-rover has landed on the Mun, i still need to get better at rocket building, as they seem to collapse under their weight, dont have the thrust or the fuel for my needs. So far, the only mod i installed was RemoteTech (and that only recently) because as soon as i saw the sat-dishes i imagined them functioning. I hope they don't become unused doodads. i wanted to register just the day everything here went offline. So, here i am finally!
