Gryphon replied to DMagic's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
What? It's right there, riiiii..... Huh. OK, I can't find the link, either. Anyway, I trust Google helped you find the download on Github, Spacedock, or Curse. -
Nereid's got a mod for that:

It's not in game quite yet.Take a look in this thread, on the page before this one, where DMagic has posted pics of the KSPedia entries he's planning to add. -

[1.1.3] TAC - Life Support v0.12.2 - Release 03 JULY 2016
Gryphon replied to danfarnsy's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I think there's a typo. The link leads to 0.12.1, but the releases page leads to v0.12.1, which has a zip file. https://github.com/KSP-RO/TacLifeSupport/releases/tag/v0.12.1- 200 replies

[old thread] Trajectories : atmospheric predictions
Gryphon replied to Youen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yep, this is a fairly common request. IIRC, in the past the answer has been, "this is very hard to do" and "it's not happening any time soon." -

[KSP v1.1.3] Stock Bug Fix Modules (Release v1.1.3b.1 - 10 Jul 16)
Gryphon replied to Claw's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Which part of it, and with what symptoms? This mod is actually a collection of smaller modlets. For example, I am using GameSettingsPlus and PilotRSASFix. In the KIS thread, you said: Is that the symptoms you are referring to? -
Sorry, you have a wrong mod thread. This is PlanetShine. Perhaps you wanted EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements?

[1.8.x] DMagic Orbital Science: New Science Parts [v1.4.3] [11/2/2019]
Gryphon replied to DMagic's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm not sure what to suggest to fix your issue, but I'm currently in progress on a DMagic 60-day mission, and it has continued to progress through multiple saves and loads. Only 41 more days! -
[1.3.0] Kerbal Engineer Redux 1.1.3.0 (2017-05-28)
Gryphon replied to cybutek's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
What were you doing when you encountered this error? Is it reproducible, and if so, what are the steps? Are you using other mods besides KER? If so, what are the minimum set of mods required to reproduce the error? -
[1.11] RemoteTech v1.9.9 [2020-12-19]
Gryphon replied to tomek.piotrowski's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Are you playing in career mode? If you are playing in career mode, do you have an active antenna on your ship? Does this happen with manned craft or only unmanned? If the first stage activates, are you using launch clamps at that time? -
[1.11] RemoteTech v1.9.9 [2020-12-19]
Gryphon replied to tomek.piotrowski's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I like to set up my Kerbin comm-sat network in Keosynchronous orbit, each with a DTS-M1 targeted at Kerbin. I'm using the Root Range model, so this means I can launch ships with only a DP-10 and have a connection from the ground up. For satellites with a view of KSC, this antenna also picks it up for the link-back. My starter network is two satellites in KSO set up so they are each in the cone of the other's Kerbin-targeted dish, but also with a view of each other past Kerbin. This probably leaves a blind spot, but it's got view to all of Kerbin at 70km. When I move to a 3-satellite, equidistant KSO comm-sat network, I put two in view of KSC, as a redundant link. If you don't have that first link from KSC, you've got nothing! -
I think that if you look back through this thread, you'll see that this is a long-standing stock issue with very long bases, especially if they're attached to the ground at multiple points. If memory serves, there are two things you can do to mitigate the problem: 1) Only attach to the ground at one point. 2) Don't make your base really long. (Remember that those pipe connections make the whole thing into one big vessel)

[old thread] Trajectories : atmospheric predictions
Gryphon replied to Youen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm using FAR 0.15.6.5 with Trajectories 1.6.2 in KSP 1.1.2, and it's working fine for me. -
[1.11] RemoteTech v1.9.9 [2020-12-19]
Gryphon replied to tomek.piotrowski's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Have you tried taking the scientist on EVA to the Lander Can? That should work (assuming you have orbital EVA's unlocked). -
I just unlocked the first Fairing Base in my new game on 1.1.2, and I can confirm that I have the typical size and configuration options available on right-click. I'd focus on checking just your PF install first. You might also check in a sandbox game.

[old thread] Trajectories : atmospheric predictions
Gryphon replied to Youen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You can toggle the trajectory display (and calculations) on and off by left clicking on the icon. If you right click, it brings up the Settings menu, allowing you to do more sophisticated stuff (as well as turning off the Trajectory display and calculation). -
[1.11] RemoteTech v1.9.9 [2020-12-19]
Gryphon replied to tomek.piotrowski's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
What happens if you start a new game? Does it work there? -
[1.11] RemoteTech v1.9.9 [2020-12-19]
Gryphon replied to tomek.piotrowski's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I generally use the table in the Appendix of the RemoteTech Player's Guide Options page. But, yes, I agree that RT is swankier with the Root Range model enabled. Oh, and I currently have a Keosynchronous comm network consisting of only two satellites, each with a DTS-M1 targeted at Kerbin. The first is set up with a direct view of KSC, the second is on almost the opposite side of Kerbin, but with a line-of-sight to the other satellite. This gives me complete coverage of Kerbin at orbital altitudes, with only a DP-10 on connecting craft. I'm pretty sure this satellite configuration leaves a small dead spot on the surface of Kerbin, but I can live with it for now, early in my career mode game. -
[1.10.0] Final Frontier - kerbal individual merits 1.10.0-3485
Gryphon replied to Nereid's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Sure. I saw it initially with the "RealChute Cone Chute" (RC_cone), but I just tested again with each of the other parachute parts included with RealChute, and I could deploy all of them and still get the ribbon. However, I also just tried with the stock "Mk16 Parachute" (with RealChute installed) and it had the same effect - launched, burnt all fuel, deployed chute, landed, got ribbon. Hmm. WAAIT - I have 1.0.7 - updating. I'll check again with the current version. -
So basically, we need to include logs if we want to get support, and we need to include logs if we want to give support to the mod author. (and reproduction steps, and all that)
-
I presume you have the right Kerbal and the right tool for the job, and it's equipped? Edit: Oh, and you're using the right attach mode?
