  1. Just to let everyone know, I am still working on this, I've just been busy with work and other stuff so progress has been slow
  2. What kind of specs do you actually want? Things like vehicle mass, thrust, size etc would be easy, but things like payload capacity to various orbits would be a fair bit harder, especially with the Atlas considering how many variants there are, and also people are going to have different launch profiles. For example I may use a more efficient accent profile than someone else, and may be able to get an extra ton to orbit. (I fly all of my ascents by hand, no mechjeb)
  3. Nodes? Bah! Back in my day we didn't have nodes! Wait for Mun rise over kerbin, burn, and then eyeball it! And you're missing out, try going to the jovian system. It's a pretty snazzy place with a decent spread of things to see and do. Just don't try and land on Jool, it doesn't like being landed on
  4. Also back to the Delta II, BlazingAngel was going to do it, but as far as I'm aware cluelessmodeler was working on one for us, but I haven't really heard anything about it
  5. I'm not sure what would be causing it then :/ hopefully I'll get a new CCB out soon but I'm working quite a bit over the next few days. I've been testing everything on a clean install so I don't know what might be crashing you.
  6. It's all down to the collider issue on the CCB unfortunately, was going to fix it today but got called into work. I'm not sure about the CTD issue though, I've personally never had it happen myself. What other mods do you have? I know it probably doesn't make any difference about what you have, but you never know
  7. Not really fir the dual engined centaur, as one has never been flown on an Atlas or is planned to fly on one. I will do ACES in a future update though as part of the Phase 1 upgrade
  8. I guess that would be a 561, although the highest they realistically go is 551. I'm guessing you have a serious payload there then, got to be 10t+ for all those SRBs
  9. I thought cluelessmodeler was working on a Delta II?
  10. I'll post an update on that when I start on it, I'll get round to it. I'm working on other stuff at the moment. Stock RCS can be used for now to control the centaur maneuvers
  11. You can't, it has to be done by BlazingAngel. For now use a stock decoupler instead of the ISA until an update is released.
  12. Putting the model back thorough unity and unchecking the "convex mesh" option. Shouldn't take more than 5 mins for BlazingAngel to do
  13. That is a known bug I picked up, I'm pretty sure it's a collider on the Interstage, and has a simple fix.
  14. Dream chaser would be a bit harder as it's not a simple tube X-37 and dream chaser are both things I would like to see in the game. Also I'm not sure if he still is, but before the forum wipe tiberion was going to do the dream chaser for the ISS project.
  15. I guess it's something that could be looked into
  16. I think it's just a limitation in ksp, any unbalanced rocket is going to got a bit wonky I'll mess around with some different gimball values to see if that help. As for the rotation, I'm not sure what causes it, it's almost as if the ASAS stops bothering about roll control. If you look at the sliders when it's rolling it doesn't seem to be doing anything. this could be because there are no control surfaces, I'm not entirely sure. And the slippage is probably because none of the SRB set ups are balanced. Were you using the pre made 541 configuration? This is how the SRBs are set up in each of the variants And I pointed out the exploding issue with the Delta earlier, if it's the same problem, it's a collider issue on the interstage. Also the same used to happen with the payload fairing, anything inside them would explode.
  17. it does yes, imjust using stock ons for now on the .craft files, but i might model some later
  18. The Atlas V 400 and 500 series and the Delta IV Medium 5m and Heavy can be built using the parts that are in this pack I put pre built .craft files into the pack of every variant of the Atlas V, and also .craft files for the Delta IV Medium 5m and Heavy if you want to use a particular variant. Simply stick a payload on top and you are good to go. Or you can build your own fantastical craft using any of the parts, maybe even try making the Atlas V Heavy (not sure how well it will work ) or a Delta IV with 4 CBC strap ons Some of the Atlas variants, namely the ones with an odd second digit, can be a bit unstable. This is because they are flown with an uneven number of boosters, i.e. 2 on one side, 1 on the other. The gimballing and ASAS do compensate for this, and the current thrust on the SRBs give a good balance. Also as far as payloads go, ~64% of real life payload capacity is possible with the Atlas V using the correct configuration
  19. Buggy one, and I dont know how to make something solid in blender either Also I here is Version 1.0 RC1 of my Atlas V Atlas V Version 1.0 RC1.zip Blazing Angel will open a release thread soon with a combined pack
  20. Everything is hollow on the models. You should have the CCB in your inbox
  21. Testing out the sketchfab plugin, but not sure how to get textures on there UPDATE I am pretty much good to go for a release some time later today, I managed to put together some decouplers for the SRBs out of some scraps I had lying around. With these new decouplers it means that you wont have to use struts to keep the SRBs in place. I think that I have the CCB properly balanced, the SRBs could do with burning a bit longer and maybe a bit more thrust, and the centaur is quite overpowered at the moment. In 411 configuration, I got a ~7t payload the best part of the way to the Mun Im thinking that I should reduce the fuel a bit in the centaur, I had around 1/5 of a tank left after circularizing at 98 x 102km
