Making a base is simple I usually make em by adding an extra stage under the base part itself that has wheels to connect to pieces. I also use subassembly builder so all docking parts are at the same height.

Hey BobCat love the american pack. It is awesome. Just wanted to ask one thing about one of its parts. I was wondering if you could make the SRB side attachable so that I could use it for other rockets. You dont need to post a new amercan pack, I will just like the SRB .cfg file. Thanks for the help. -

If you are looking for a Saturn V replica with the same capabilities, ther is one in the spaceport. oh ok now I understand. Actually I only made it with 3 nuclear engine and 6 of the regular gimbal engines but I did that because Nasa does not have a lander for it yet so I just mixed two that I found in the Internet. I tried to get looks of this one.(top lander) And the ability to stage from this one. However if I wanted it to land and then stage while taking off I will need to have in the last stage the nuclear engine to allow the lander to get off Duna's gravity and dock with the orbiting craft. But also the stage needed a lot more fuel needing more engines because it needs to land the lander while still having enough fuel to rise back up. That's why it has so many engines. -

This is the Space Launch System or SLS. It was made to take people to an asteroid and eventually to mars. I did not make this mod i used other mods to make it. At launch: Crew: Lander: In duna: Joined In this mod you have a complete replica of the SLS crew and cargo version. The crew version does not have a lander; the cargo version however is only a lander and has no crew. This means that to land this craft you must do the same as NASA, dock the lander to the crew module in space and take it to its destination. It can go to Duna and its Moon, Eve and its Moon or the Mun in a round trip. Might get to Jool or Eelo if refuled in Space. I suggest that when you launch it, to turn on the unbreakable joints cheat because for some reason at launch it goes crazy and shakes a lot but gets under control after a few thousand meters high. NO MODS ARE REQUIRED. ALL ARE IN THE DOWNLAOD. If I missed a part in the file tell me in a post. The mods I used were: -Jool V (For Main engine) -Tiberdyne Space Shuttle (For boosters) -Mechjeb (To control it easier) -KSPX Parts Expansion (For second stage engine) -Munar Excursion Module (For the top stage) -Part Generator (For all tanks) -Fairing Factory (For all fairings and to make it look real and cool) DOWNLOAD https://www.dropbox.com/s/ws7elb05tj8pi75/KSP%20SLS%20%282%29.zip

So can you help with the config files is that the boosters im asking bilsta1000 to make for me, i had already made them but they don't work. I tought it most likely could be the part but not sure. Can you check if its the config file. The part is in this url http://www.dropbox.com/home/Sls%20booster and the name of everything is in unity I had deleted every game object except for cylinder and thrustTransformer. So the rest of the pics have no purpose. -
