Solar Farm Launch A new design, a new launch vehicle, new launch time. Perfect. Whats that? Right on Que After a orbital insertion, TMI and orbital burns, we go sub-orbital right down onto the Munbase The shallow part of the crater, the rim isn't much of a climb so its easy to get out On the surface - the crew are from the science team consisting of Billy-Bobnand (center) and Corcan Big things are coming, stay tuned! -

To my recollection, you are taunting the kraken right there. Whole ships have been lost down there mate. Its a brilliant Idea, I want to see this thing. I would strongly suggest that parachutes and an engine are inside this roll cage and that any equipment is in another roll cage -

You are most certainly not alone in the world of docking rookie's (don't mind me..) anyway, Its good to know that you are enjoying the game. I mastered docking easily after doing it Gemini style. Principle: Launch a medium sized target - no specific value, no crew, one docking port, minimal RCS thrusters Place it in a 120x120 Orbit on the equator (slightly off is good) Launch a small, 1 kerbal craft with a substantial amount of RCS - you'll need to design a good rocket to get you into space Take your time - the first mistake is to rush. Don't forget there is quick save. Take your craft to a stable 100x100 orbit Thrust prograde until our orbit comes on the path of the target Wait - timing is never perfect unless you calculate it Once your intercept is close, bring up a node and faf like hell until the distance between target becomes about 0.5 Km Quicksave Do maneuvers Once you've spotted the target, use your nav-ball and burn all of the retrograde until it disappears- you shouldn't be moving significantly away from the target Quicksave Point towards the target and use RCS to get there - take it slow, there's still no need to rush Drift slowly to the Docking port - once you see it, line up both craft on an angle, say 00 degrees line up everything on the nav-ball and visually thrust forward - make sure the yellow prograde marker never leaves the purple target indicator mark thrust until your speed is at 0.2m/s dock! Reload quicksave repeat repeat repeat repeat Restart mission repeat whole process repeat Congratulations! You've learnt to dock! -

I second this, it might want to generate the heating effects but there might not be any -
You want a low orbit around Kerbin to start your construction. Make sure that you can easily get to the orbit without dipping into the atmosphere to catch up with the construction site. I suggest that you send logistical equipment to Eve and build the ship at Kerbin

Similar to, but not the same as- I present you my request It dawned on me that as much as my Exp. had been named, nothing about them will be remembered. So I ask the brain How do I make a Exp. remembered? And that's why I'm here. It doesn't have to be big but apart from that the design is in your hands. I would like you to design an emblem/flag/whatever to stick (maybe) in my signature and on the Thread (not this one (search SESEOR) I know there are some artists out there but I will pick which one I like so anyone can do it. It does have to have the name of the Exp. and is a request that it is relevant (eg, features from the exp.(yes you might have to read my thread I know!) Your time starts...now The current Exp emblem for design is [Exp. Juno] One last thing - the brackets no matter what font must be these []

Frankly, looking at the damn surface of kerbin makes my computer cry. God only knows why. It also means that I have to look up every launch instead of looking across the ocean -

All I'd smell if smell was implemented was smoldering designs. I'd have to say that having more terrain features would definitely spice up the game - with this I could see the KAS Mod being used to rappel kerbals down ledges. I'd have to agree that it would affect low processing computers but they could, as suggested before me, turn it down or off. It would surprise me why It would need this because craters aren't generated - they are just there -
