  1. That's great. I want to be able to use DEMV-5 "Ant" Rovers again. I installed the above, and it works. I then added the DEMV-5 "part" into the same parts folder as inside the Cleverwalrus folder, but the game stops loading. Any ideas? - GeorgeG
  2. I've resumed playing recently, now getting used to v0.23, after stopping last April (using v 0.19). A couple of questions related to Mechjeb. Before Mechjeb 2, I was doing docking by using a part of Mechjeb's docking feature. The part that kept the two craft aligned parallel. With that feature, then I was able to manually dock with the ship. With a forward looking camera in the docking port, I could manually do the translations, and once centered in, then move forward towards the ship I was docking with. Is there still some featurel ike that in Mechjeb 2? The autodock feature often wastes a lot of RCS propellant and last night it didn't even work right. So I would really like to be able to operate the RCS myself, but use Mechjebs automation to keep the two ships parallel to each other as before. The other question is about the Jeb 9000. I LOVED using that part, especially for small probes. But it seems to keep .23 from loading. Can someone at least confirm that indeed Jeb 9000 is broken under .23? I realize if may be orphaned add-on, so I realize it may be gone for good. In my return to using KSP, I'm really missing the Jeb-9000 and the DEMV-5 "Ant" rover that also seems to keep .23 from loading. - GeorgeG
  3. I have returned to playing KSP after a few months away. I last used 0.19, now using 0.23. I've been catching up on the changes. But ran into a problem that somehow I managed to work around before, but have not been able to solve, so far. It's in preparing to dock, to set the target. As I know from before, I have to visually "see" the ship and click on its docking port to set it as the target. But the ship is a few hundred meters away, and I can't get close enough to be able to click on the docking port. One thing that is contributing to the problem is that the ships have clamp-o-tron JR's. Previously I used the regular sized (1 meter) docking ports. So with these being half the size, they are twice as hard to try to click on when the intended target ship is visually far off. Now, in map view. I can set the SHIP as a target, which works for the rendezvous. But to dock, I have to manually click on the docking port of the other ship to set it as a target. I seem to recall from months ago there may have been some add-on to help with setting the docking port as the target. Or if not that, some trick. - GeorgeG One of my old missions, a 2 Kerbal ride into orbit from Eve.
  4. Where can I get the old Jeb 9000 that runs with Jeb 1.9.x? Thanks. - George
  5. Didn't survive. joined in October. Everything gone, had made over 180 posts including three massive mission reports. Sigh. This is my 2nd post of the re-created GeorgeG account, I do not even qualify to vote in the poll or set my avatar / sig yet (need to make 5 posts). Sigh. - George Gassaway
