  1. It was driving me nuts why I can't align my satellites in the same polar orbit until I noticed that your AN/DN is almost always off (according to MechJeb). I appears to change with the inclination to the orbited body (not the targeted) so the difference on equatorial orbits are only a few seconds but I got here one with 8 minutes to late. Btw it always appears to be to late: I'm just throwing my thoughts about this issue in, so it may spark an idea on your side Ah and a feature request: After passing a transfer window create a new one directly (but don't delete the old one)? Fabian
  2. Coool! The new closest approach feature is awesome! (okay OCD is kicking in: the abbreviation for Kilo is a lower case k, M(ega) is the first uppercase si-prefix) Fabian
  3. Is it compatible with 0.5.0.1 or do I have to start a new game again ? Fabian
  4. Wow, how can you display all communication lines? Hmmm, wouldn't be easier to have the high gain antennae on your satellites around Kerbin? So you still have contact when KSC is on the other side of the planet? My four GSO relais satellites have all 2 50 Mm and 1 50 Gm antennae, so I contact always Mun/Minmus and my (future) solar relais system. Fabian
  5. I guess it would be nice, to set multiple targets for one dish. For example I have 4 in GSO around Kerbin, now I would like to add all for to one dish and the dish selects automatically which is useful/connected. Of course, this doesn't fix the talking back problem, that the targeted GSO then needs to talk back. Fabian
  6. Can't you add a cancel command or something like this. Of course it only travels at speed of light, so if the command already started to execute, it simply should delay it. It is pretty hard to cancel a accidentally given command. Or showing a command queue where you can cancel a specific command (of course with the delay). And it looks like Rovers with Kerbals in seats don't work. I drove a little on Kerbin and after reloading my rover all Kerbals glitched through and now I could control the three Kerbals and rover at the same time (although the rover behaved strangely). Without the plugin it worked fine. And I noticed, that the brakes work even when out of range (luckly ^^ It would have crashed my rover). I have to check my settings, but it didn't extended the antenna (it should when in Panic mode). But maybe this is because I used the stock antenna? Or simply because I had the “Panic†setting disabled, what I can't check at the moment. BUT apart from that the plugin is of course awesome. Later today or maybe the weekend tomorrow I'll my first interplanetary flight so I have a delay more than only a few ms from Kerbin to Mun and back. They don't need to be in the same module. But I'm not sure if the Hitchhiker crew count. Fabian
  7. First of all, thanks for the fast response. Looking forward to a newer version. I wanted to attach the active target to an alarm. Okay maybe it isn't necessary in the future, but when I have a closest approach I create a standard alarm. And there would be a checkbox nice to say: “Store the active targetâ€Â, like AN or DN does. And add one to the list: Can you add the feature, that the default margin for a node alarm is burntime/2+1 minute? Maybe you already added and my nodes are to short to notice. Or it get lost after the forum hickup. Fabian
  8. Oh man. You may be right, of course they aren't exactly 90°. In fact both are slightly larger than 90°. This darn apsides without the orbited body's radius Thank you for your help! This also explains why pointing a parabolic antenna works, as this increases the range of the dipole antenna on the other satellite. [edit]Okay yay mathematics: Only 2 * arcsin((0.5 * 5000 km) / (600 km + 2868 km)) = 92.253801° farther out and you are out of range. There isn't much margin.[/edit] Fabian
  9. Hey nice work! My list is always full of events I should work on This should be stock, as I'm easily can forget any important event But I have a bug: Sometimes, I discovered only after entering another SoI, the periapsis alarm doesn't work, even when there is a periapsis visible. Later today I'll check if a previously it does work, after being captured by the Mun (and having a apoapsis). This is how it looks like: http://ma.xzise.de/oog/albums/Fabian/KSP2/screenshot28_croped.png And can you add something link the next two closest approaches which are also visible? Maybe also add an option to the other alarms to optionally restore target or next node. Is there a way to stop the alarms, which are in the past, from popping up, after loading a ship without deleting them? Keep improving your awesome plugin. Fabian
  10. No I build my own satellite: http://ma.xzise.de/oog/albums/Fabian/KSP2/screenshot0.png Fabian
  11. No it doesn't. All GSO satellites have a 5 Mm dipole antenna. Now Pythagoras says: c² = a² + b² and a = b = 2.686 Mm which gives us a c of under 5 Mm (≃ 3.7 Mm) well within the range of the antenna. Fabian
  12. Okay about my strange problem: I pointed the 50 Mm dish at one of the three other not working GSO Satellites and suddenly everything comes online, even when the other satellite hasn't a dish targeted at my satellite. This is a part of my save: http://pastebin.com/cfmVK43t No satellite has a connection except Heru'ur II D. But when you point a 50 Mm antenna at Heru'ur II A or Heru'ur II C (the two GSO satellites 90° ahead/behind) I get a connection to all satellites (of course except for Heru'ur IIa and Heru'ur I A, but those have either no antenna available or behind Mun) Fabian
  13. Jep in GameData/RemoteTech/Plugins/PluginData/RemoteTech/Settings.cfg is an entry “RemoteCommand Crew = 3â€Â. I would suggest to edit this to whatever you like. Or Mod+F11 to change this ingame. Fabian
  14. I think you need three Kerbals in the craft with the RemoteCommand. Does this apply to your ship? And check if the antenna on the probe is working (I guess power should be there as it would say has no power instead). Fabian
  15. Hello, I got a strange problem. Everything works fine, but now suddenly my four GSO relaissatellites stop working. Each relaissatellite has one 5 Mm normal antenna and three 50 Gm dishes (one always pointed at Mun, the other two randomly closed, none or some other satellite). Now in theory the 5 Mm antenna should allow communication between the relaissatellites, but only the satellite above KSC has connection to the command center even without a 50 Gm parabolic antenna pointing at it. All other ships/satellites/stations I checked have no connection even when they were below GSO and a line of sight to the only working relaissatellite exists. Two rovers at KSC are working (< 1 km distance to the command base). Fabian
  16. Nice, but I'm unable to extract C??te_d'Ivoire: caution: filename not matched: GameData/WorldFlags/Flags/C\?\?te_d'Ivoire.png But I can extract the other files and they look awesome, although there is some kind of lightcolored border? My image preview window has a black background and you can easily see it with Belgium or Afghanistan that the black parts have a grey stripe on the left. And would it be possible to add fictional flags, like UFP. Fabian
  17. Nice But why are the flags blurry? In the wikimedia commons you find the category SVG sovereign state flags, although the category has “only†196 while your directory has 214. Now I don't know what the specifications for a flags are but as they are vector graphics you should be able to convert them into any size needed. Fabian
  18. Thats why I use RemoteTech to add at least signal delay.
  19. Yeah, I was looking into the source code of this plugin and it looked like they were (for us not understandable) chatting. So of course not a useful answer but simply the message send after receiving one. Exactly what you showed in your example. Fabian
  20. Ehr no. I completly understand that the chatter you hear is non sense but the messages needs to be transferred with the speed of light. So the answer can only come after the message was transferred to the other point and then the answer was transferred back. I only said RemoteTech because KSP by default doesn't has any delay and as your commands need to be send through the satellites Chatterer's message should too. Of course only simulated. Fabian
  21. Oh no I didn't want that this replaces RemoteTech. But maybe there is a way for this plugin to communicate with RemoteTech (if it is also installed) and ask for time delay value. Fabian
  22. Does it support RemoteTech with adding a delay between message and response according to the distance between the control and ship. Or only send messages from/to the ship without any answer when the ship has no contact. (And a “nominal†message every few messages is a must ) Fabian
  23. Yep that would be fine. Although you could link the changelog posts in your first thread About your shrapnels: I hope it won't kill the framerate Fabian
  24. I'm looking forward to it And about the red triangle: I would have never guessed that I guessed something like distance or pointing where the port is. But I always forgot to look closely at the marker and try to figure it out. Fabian
  25. Hey, I posted this already before but then the forum's glitch removed my account So first of all, thanks for the amazing docking cam (yep I'm only using this, but this mod is already awesome!). Now I got one question: What the hell does this red triangle say?! ^^ And could you maybe add two little features: A little triangle or so pointing in the direction of the target (if set) so when it is out of sight that you can easily move towards it. Also add all ÃŽâ€x and vx so you don't have to estimate them (I guess, d and v are the combined values for all three dimensions). Fabian
