  1. Welcome! Man, you really go into detail on your blog. My hat is off to you sir! I'd like to see some of your personal creations though. Keep it coming!
  2. Welcome to KSP forums! Good to have you. Anything you need, feel free to ask. Lots of intelligent people around here!
  3. Hi and welcome! A ship will become debris when it is not connected to a command pod. Etiher manned or unmanned. If manned, put a kerbal inside(ie: hitchhicker storage) and the part will remain active. So just make sure your satellite has power and has an unmanned pod built in. Good luck!
  4. Maverick377, I've created a complete guide for docking from start to finish, link located in my sig. It has helped many first timers! Good luck!
  5. Welcome to the forums and KSP! Good to have you on board!
  6. Hi GatsbyK, I have links to two videos I've made in my signature full of good tips and I don't skip over anything. Should help you on your way to building awesome ships with the full version in no time!
  7. State your purpose and contents! What is your first mission?
  8. How can you cheat at a game you play only by yourself? SpaceshipFood: Check out some videos on docking on youtube. I even made a tutorial (link in my sig) and if you're still having problems there are plenty of mods to help you out. I think hyper edit being the one you'd need although I've never used it, I think you can put a ship anywhere you want. I will say this though, if you tough it out and practice (since you're off school all summer) there is nothing quite like seeing the station you built piece by piece flying above kerbin.
  9. Welcome back! good luck with your mission!
  10. Welcome! Semi-Addicted and you're losing sleep? what happens when you're completely addicted? no sleep? haha.
  11. Welcome to the Forums! No worries about your English. It's fine! If you make a lander that can make orbit in kerbin, it should have plenty of fuel to land on duna, take off, and return home. I didn't do the calculations when I built mine, but I imagined it would be about the same. Good luck and post some pictures of your mission! P.S. - Remember aerobraking is your friend when you arrive at duna and when you return to kerbin!
  12. Welcome to the forums! If you have methods for 0 debris I'm sure most of us would be all ears especially for interplanetary travels. (Especially me) I try to build my ships as small as possible and like to drop debris to burn up in the atmosphere but it doesn't always happen that way. It's always nice to see more technical people joining the community!
  13. Hi Tricio, You are very close to getting your first dock, and I think my docking tutorial video can help! I go in depth and offer many tips and tricks to help things go smoothly. It has helped others get their first dock! There is a link to it in my signature! Good luck!
  14. Mine too, Welcome back!
  15. Greetings! Good to hear you're getting hooked! Good luck with your missions!
  16. Haha! That is the harsh truth. And to answer your question I like to think of names that sound cool. Sometimes having something to do with what it's designed for so I don't forget what I've built. I built a duna return rocket and called it Outrider, and later forgot what I named it so I had to go through each one haha.
  17. Welcome to the forums! Although everytime I see a join date of April 2013 I always wonder if it's someone we all know in disguise....
  18. Welcome to the forums and KSP. How long have you been traveling at light speed?
  19. Welcome to KSP, Doc! Be sure to post us some pictures of your creations!
  20. welcome back! I'm in the same boat!
  21. Welcome to the forums and KSP! Good luck on all your missions!
  22. I haven't tested this, but I'm fairly sure Alt+Left Click the command pod will copy the entire ship while in the assembly building. Hope this helps!
  23. It's good to be back. Lost my account but haven't lost my mind! Same name, same game. It all works out!
