  1. Sure that would be awesome! I've got 1.0 up and running so I'll be tweaking the ship and probably building a new launcher for it, after that I'll gladly send you the craft file.
  2. You guys think Squad threw in this sweet sight for players who make military craft. Squad is awesome!
  3. They are a sturdy Craft. I've been having problems with logistics in the development of my other ships. They seen to not have the range I need, but the Rook class has a ton of fuel and is very efficient. Right now its the best and most functional cruiser I have. It still has not gone through the crucible of battle, so I have yet to see its performance in combat.
  4. FreeWill Inc. newest line of battle cruisers, Rook class. This ones orbiting Ike.

  6. Hey could I get a flag similar to the one in my signature, but with a shield behind the rook and gold trim on it and the rook... Possibly two 4 pointed stars in there some where.
  7. Its really a moot point, we now have females. Who cares how many orange suits there are!
  8. You can probably mine atmosphere. You need some way of making oxidizer I guess. This will make Jool a hot spot for oxidizer mining!
  9. I think its pretty balanced, it takes for ever to actually convert the stuff.
  10. I can't see how this is any way cheating. Resources adds so much more to the game: it gives purpose to bases, makes self sufficient colonies a reality, and ships can refuel on there missions! I mean imagine it, you could set up a colony on Duna with all the ships you need to mine, refuel, and launch. So instead of Kerbin being your main base of operations it could be Duna. The mining parts will probably be a high tech level, so you'll have plenty of regular missions to do before you get them.
  11. Yeah, sorry I wasn't quite sure what Kerbals measure in. The ship has 6660... liters, I guess, of liquid fuel.
  12. I see, so having just 4 would be better, giving it more delta-V?
  13. Not all planets endure the same amount of asteroid bombardment, especially ones close to gas giants.
  14. When you want to make an efficient rocket for interplanetary travel, is it better to have more or less nuclear engines? I have a 121.9 ton ship with 8 nuclear engines and about 6300 gallons of fuel, but it can't make it to Dres.
  15. Yeah the Preset node's was definitely a cool addition to the game. I wonder if it will only be a feature for higher grade space programs in career mode for 1.0?
  16. I hope they add a little bit of autonomy to the higher level crew members. It would be cool to be able to have them preform simple maneuvers, or auto-land, possibly dock even? That would cut back on all the micromanagement you have to do when running a large colony or station.
  17. Trial and error mostly, I did watch some Scott Manly to learn how to dock though.
  18. I really like Dres strangely enough, I'm building a colony there. The low gravity is nice for landing and take off and I like how alone it is. Heh, maybe I'm just weird... Also, ALL HAIL THE KING OF ASTEROIDS!!!
  19. If a ship fails to get a solid orbit around a planet, I send the same one again in a vain attempt to see if it will make orbit. Many Kerbals have been doomed to orbit Kerbol for eternity this way.
