  1. Did you change the floats from the Pre-release to release? I had a plane working beautifully on 3 floats and now even with a metric ton of struts they sag, bow, and collapse and fail on take off.
  2. Any plans to have a docking port with Hydrotech built in? A connection node currently needs 6 docking ports, and 6 docking assistance stacks, or if it must be low profile, 6 ports with 6 targets and 6 cameras, a docking port with hydrotech gizmo's would be the lowest of profiles, easy to implement on all craft and cut down on part counts.
  3. Hmm, I have been using the pre release of the Firespitter floats. I'll have to try both the revival amd the recreation and see which works best for me. I sure am glad we have floats again!
  4. Awesome, that is what I was missing. I haven't been able to find documentation anywhere. Thank you Darren.
  5. I assigned them to action groups the first time around. Is it a key binding in settings?
  6. I cant seem to get any of the servos to respond to control inputs. They sit there and behave like the floppy hinge and ball bearing from modular multiwheels.
  7. This is a cool challenge that I'll participate in later. Just a half hour ago I had a staging failure; Now I have three a 3 man crew stuck at the north pole. Hmm, I also have a 3 man crew splashed down in the wreckage of an cargo SSTO after the payload exploded when unloading it. can kerbalnauts swim and enter vehicles from the water or will I have to have them jump down onto something? I'll be sure to document the rescue missions
  8. You can watch your Air intake drop like you would total fuel or mono-propellent with the Resources tab in the top right corner. Using that and the Atmosphere gauge you can judge when to shut the jets off.
  9. Pull the lifter off the command module and drag it to sub assembly mod so you can make a new craft with your new root module of choice and stick all the parts back under it. Et Voila, you have an identical rocket with a different root.
  10. Red Inc. is now accepting applications to for designs of new rovers able to enter and deploy from B9 Aerospace ML, TT Mk3 or Mk4 series of cargo bays. Primarily we are looking for ground based probe control vehicles for the Remotetech Protocol, but versatile vehicle designs will scored. Requirements: - Deployable via long haul cargo aircraft (no ICBM delivery system please) - Kerbal driven - Any reasonable mods are okay (kas winches, robotics, DEMV, modular wheels, ect) - Plane not required Criteria: - Weight (+5 points if under 10 mass, +10 if under 5) - Able to deploy an Interplanetary class orange deployable dish for remotetech probes (+20 if you are able to deploy the monster dish) and some provision to control the dish by a crew of three [3] kerbal drone pilots using the (+15) - Crew comfort for long operations in the field (+5 for each additional kerbal seat. +5 for complete lighting, power and egress systems) - Aesthetics and elegance - if your design is impressive, innovative, and well built and good looking by popular opinion, add +10 - Able to drive up and down the loading ramps and dock securely on its own power, safely (+10) - Compact - each size smaller loading bay from the MK4 gets +5 --- I have spent hours trying to get a vehicle in a plane and deploy it on the other side of Kerbin with a crew of 3 and the massive remotetech orange dish to build out my network, not because it is easy, but because it is hard. Closest I got to working was an DEMV MK4 ANT with the dish on top in a HL cargo bay. You don't have to include the kerballers or the dish, as I think those cargo bay ramps could use some lovin and I want to see what you guys come up with. Looking forwards to seeing some neat vehicles!
