  1. lol, As you can see in the video the framerate is good. My CPU is an i7 4790k 4.4ghz. 16Gb ram. Thanks for the kind words guys.
  2. LOL I see, ok. Yeah I have it on every time I build. You cant build anything complex and small without it. Thanks Woopert. Its really fun to fly too!
  3. Thanks Gus! I put a hell of a lot of effort into these craft. Thanks man, they are perfect for heat tiles aren't they! If by 'part clipping' you mean did I arrange the parts in such a way as to create a very accurate replica. Yes, yes it does. Not possible with the space I have to work with sadly. My solution is the best I think. Thank you though.
  4. Hi all, I am very happy to be able to show you my new replica. The Boeing X-37b with Atlas V launch vehicle. The first time I tried to make this I used the new parts and it looked good but also exactly the same as all the other SP+ X-37 I could see.. So I decided to really push the limits and try for a very close approximation of the shape. I also wanted this to be fully functional in the same sense that the real one is. So that meant I need a cargo bay and some sort of payload. The real function of the real one is a secret so we can but guess. I came up against a real problem as I wanted the cargo bay to close for landing. This seemed an impossibility.. To get around the issue I have turned the satellite cargo into a cargo door re-attacher too! Its fun to chase it down and a nice little challenge to re-attach. You can see this in the video. Here are a few more pics: There we have it. The launcher needs to settle a little before lift off and gentle taps to keep on course, Its the same launcher as my Curiosity Atlas V so same rules apply. The X-37b itself glides quite well, it took a while to stabilize it! There is enough fuel in it to deorbit and enough RCS in the satellite payload to change orbit multiple times to, you know... Do secret stuff that definitely doesn't involve the satellites of other nations.. A quick word of warning, it is part heavy. The X-37b itself is 500 parts and the total with launcher is over 800. This is ok for me but might not be for everyone. Here is a video showing a full mission, including cargo door re-attach: Thank you for looking. I hope you enjoy flying it as much as I enjoyed making it. DOWNLOAD MJ
  5. Hey, great question. Personally, I still miss the small white surface but I'm happy with the new wings. They are good for fairings and there are a lot of shapes which is great. Happy Kerbanought here.
  6. Anything I can do Vagani? I've finished my thing so I have time.
  7. I see four fuel tanks there right? Fuel lines on the two engines?
  8. Negative, I am a meat popsicle. Something sentient next.
  9. This is an issue with the new parts.. All replicas using them look the same..
  10. Yup, the wings are so thick you can hide struts in them, nice for a clean look.
  11. I'm really happy to hear this! I will keep an eye out for the cinematic.
  12. No pics yet, but I finished my Boeing X-37b replica. Now to make the 'c' crew version. I've used my Atlas V from my Curiosity replica, sans boosters:
  13. Great looking craft Rune, interesting also. I hadn't heard of this thing before. Kudos!
  14. This is great Mareczex333. Very nice replica indeed. Do you think you could make this: You build now!
  15. Yes this is true but they will add another gas planet after 'scope complete'. Of this I am certain.
  16. Nice ones Teo. You should start making launchers mate, I'm sure people would like to fly these. MJ
  17. Me too! It was a small fix but I am the master of laziness. If anyone tries it and has any issues, please let me know.
  18. No need my freind, I fixed the SPR rover and added it to the launchers this pack should be ready to go now, the DL link is updated too. Thank you for all the replies! MJ
  19. Hey man, The .25 update changed all the surfaces in the game and the SPR rover looked like a hedgehog.. I was going to update the aeroshell landers fairing to the new wing surfaces but early Duna tests showed they don't work as well as the panel fairing I have now so I wont change them. All I need to do now is remake the SPR rover and add them to the craft. Will try to do It today so the pack is up and running again. Thanks for the reply! MJ
  20. I've noticed this too. Do more people use the ksp subreddit than this forum?
  21. This reaction wheel engine is really popular! Been seeing it for a while, it just fits doesn't it. I've used them in my wip heavy lift VTOL.
  22. I hope the pedals are close together! (Guess the reference) The car looks awesome as usual mate. I love the two parachute 'grill'. I haven't seen that done before. Keep up the good work. MJ
  23. Cool thanks man. Ok, I have added the Short SC-1 VTOL, Duna Constellation pack and the Curiosity rover and Atlas V 541. Thanks! MJ
