  1. I think jumbo tank and mainsail with the help of asparagus staging solve many problems.
  2. Gosh, I used 48 radial intakes and 2 ram intake to let my ssto fly above 30000m. In real life, the SR-71 flies on that altitude with good engine and air intake. If stock parts don't provide such things and I do not want to modify my file, what can't I used multiple ones?
  3. Hope to meet the improvement ASAP. But I have to go to work first.
  4. When landed, the media said the mission was 90% succeed. When photos of both of them were taken, the media said the mission was fully succeed. Now I wonder what's next?
  5. Let the back up one Chang'e 4 do the work. This time, the Chinese focused more on letting the probe land safely rather than doing a documentary for Apollo mission.

  7. If squad can add an air intake for high altitude, it will be much nicer. I am sick of using tons of air intakes just to let my ssto maintain power above 30000m.
  8. No, have not met any bug yet in 0.22 except the hell kraken XD
  9. What I found is jets are so efficienct when you have enough air intakes. Use jet to let your shuttle flying above 40,000m and sliding into the vacumn then let the rocket engine do the final push for a stable obit. The whole thing is simple and beautiful.
  10. Well. I just send my mun base to the Mun with 13 kerbals......to test the possibility of interplanetary colonization.
  11. I used it quite often when I was doing a kerbol fly by. You can have full power of the ion engine with 1 single 2by3.
  12. I met the hell kraken when Halloween came...
  13. After a test of new rocket and just before the end of today's gameplay, I went to tracking station to check the probe I sent to the outer space of Kerbol system. The sun looked small, the solar panels doiing nothing with 1.00 explosure, sensors giving out data, well, everything seemed just fine. Then I saw a small white circle floating somewhere near my probe. My antenna? What on earth just happened?! There was no crash or any boooom happened. Everythings looks normal except antenna floating around sliently. Weird... Then another thing happened. My gravity sensor thought he should have a vacation alone, well, after a long long working year and it just left the spacecraft. I sent probe to deep space before but I never found this kind of thing. Is it just another Kraken? Environmental friendly Kraken?
  14. Yesterday I sent a probe to the deep space (escaping the Kerbol system). I was hoping it to find another gold mine of science but the result said no.
  15. A problem I found is a mum mission ship has a 1 man pod, a inline science bay, a fuel tank, an engine which all of these parts make the spacecraft very tall. It means we need to land our craft much more carefully.
  16. There is another question quite bother me. Will a space station with science parts keep generating science point or it will cease to generate once the expriment is done and then we need to dock another science element on it?
  17. Put as many kerbal as possible to the moon.
  18. I land a smal base with a mun vehicle into the big hole near the north pole of mun I found yeasterday pretending I'm doing a alien artifact digging mission. The monolith is right below the bottom of the hole. Does anyone make a mod to change all the monoliths into markers?
  19. Well, eventually, I found that monolith. It is right beneath the bottom of the hole... Anyone wants the location?
  20. ah, that's why I can't find any of them on the moon. I usually do a 5km-height fly pass to see if there is anythings on the ground. It may works for mun arc not for the monolith.
  21. I think the place is good for a secret base. The bottom is quite flat and large enough for some buildings. If there is enemy, they can only find you when satellite pass from the top. Well, if they don't have the mysterious kerbal technology that can show everything nearby and label them with small tag.
  22. Thanks. So, how close do we need to get to when we want to see a monolith?
  23. Today when I was trying to find an easter egg at the northern hemisphere of mun, I found this big hole. Since I could not find where it is, I said to myself why not land in that hole and check what was inside? The bottom seemed quite flat while the edge was steep. The crosssection also shows the hole is quite deep. But when I scoped back to a certain distance, the view showed that it was a shallow crater. So my question is, does the game only render the terran in detail when you approach to a very close distance. Many times, when I was trying to land a spot where I thought it was flat, I ended up finding this place was acturally a slope. Sometimes it is a bit annoying when you want to find a flat place to build your mun base.
