  1. Hmm... I'm not sure, for me it says, "Download Now!". It may vary for different people, but I wouldn't know if it's an error on my part, or just with the Spaceport
  2. Ok, we've now made up another 2 satellite cores. We should have the "Voyager" range of cores (medium-sized) ready soon We will also be working on a huge range of satellite parts, so you can build advanced probes for your space program.
  3. Ok, the first satellite core is now fully functional, with everything you need to design a great probe! This core is the first in the "Voyager" series of probe cores, which are all based around 1.25m part sizes. Please check the spaceport for further info
  4. An update will be coming out tonight! I have just finished a satellite core, which will be the first in an entire series of models of probes. They will allow you to create satellites/probes which are fully-equipped for whatever role you require them to be, and will be the next step in Defcon Corporation Orbital Tech!
  5. Well, if you'd be interested in helping out with the mod, then we'd love to have you on board! We've just been going over some great new ideas for the mod, so we'd be really grateful to have some help I'll send you a PM with some details
  6. Thanks a lot for the support, and it really means a lot to hear some positive feedback! As said, this may not be the most realistic concept ever, but hopefully we're close enough to the point where it's believable, but not so realistic that it's not fun to play with in KSP. And because of all of your kind support, I'm sure that we'll manage to put out some great new parts (and I've started to make some 3D models as well, to speed up the development process)
  7. So, that would mean that there's no such thing as a self-sufficient fuel? Such as ethanol... which there is...
  8. Honestly, our system is going to combine elements of real-life fuel production, while making it so that you have to thoroughly process resources to produce fuel- in short, it's going to take much longer to generate fuel, meaning that generators will mainly be useful for refilling orbital fuel depots and the like, and although it will allow for infinite exploration, it will be much more balanced
  9. Ok, I've reduced the thrust loads, increased the mass, and added a fuel draw gauge- shouldn't bee too OP now, but please bear in mind that it's supposed to be a powerful engine nonetheless
  10. Yeah, thanks That would be a nice addition, so what I'll do is go and update the pack now- I'll add the drawguage, and make the parts a little less OP
  11. I'm going to be updating it soon, and bringing the thrust down to 2000, so its just a little more powerful than a mainsail engine
  12. The mod has now been released! Please go to: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/defcon-corporation-orbital-tech-pack/
  13. Hi! A couple of days back, I release my first ever KSP mod onto the Spaceport- but it was pretty bad. I've just finished the creation of a new (and much, much better mod), and I am kindly requesting that a moderator removes my current mod from the Spaceport (it's my only addon, the Defcon Corp. Orbital Tech. Pack). Thanks for reading, EsvDefcon EDIT: I've just uploaded the new mod- the new mod (that I don't need deleting) has a thumbnail of an engine- the old pack (that needs deleting) has an image of my username with a TGN corner banner. The reason that I am requesting this is because I cannot delete it myself.
  14. The engine is now fixed! The mod should be released by tonight!
  15. No. I do all of the work in Unity, the part configs, and the texturing. Since you appear to just be here to argue over something which clearly doesn't involve you at all, I kindly suggest that you leave.
  16. It's nothing special really, mainly just for the setup in Unity
  17. Sorry about the wait everyone, but there have been quite a few issues with the GRE! I'm almost finished setting up the thrust, so hopefully the release will be today!
  18. Thanks for the feedback Hopefully it won't be too long until the initial release
  19. No, by code, I mean code... and if you'd prefer not to 'cheat' then of course you could just not use it?
  20. Ok, we're just finishing up with the code now, and starting work on some custom models for the resource generators. Shouldn't be too long before official release!
  21. Thanks for the heads-up, I've added a license- the download should be out by tomorrow
  22. Thanks And no, not quite yet, but once it's out I'll be posting a link here (I just have to finish fixing some code)
  23. The Defcon Corporation Orbital Technology Division has been hard at work designing advanced new modules, with the aim of creating parts to allow space programs to build their own advanced orbital craft- be it a spaceplane, a rocket, or a station, we’ve got you covered... If you are looking for more parts to create orbital craft, then you've come to the right place! With DC Aerospace, you can design intricate satellites to put into orbit around anything in the Universe, or to send on deep space missions. Whatever your aim, we can help you get there. Probe Cores: Our main range of parts is an entire line of probe cores. We have designed them to match the specific purposes which they were created for, and we currently have two ranges of probes on offer (with more coming soon): -The Voyager Range- These probe cores are designed to allow you to conduct deep space missions, and pack many of the essential parts which you would otherwise need to attach to your craft- communications devices, SAS modules, battery packs, instruments... and, of course, the ability to remotely control your vessel. These cores are built around a 1.25m scale. -The Horizon Range- These advanced cores are the perfect platform to construct your own space telescopes around- featuring large reflecting chambers, lenses, solar panels, and all of the features of an orbital probe core, you can create fully-functional orbital telescopes within minutes! We have also designed a wide range of satellite parts to add onto any of the satellite cores, to allow you to design extremely advanced, and compact orbital and/or exploration probes. You can have this pack for your own space program right now, by going to the official page: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/defcon-corporation-orbital-tech-pack/ A Showcase Of The Mod: Defcon Corp. Orbital Tech Development: The pack will soon be available for download on the Spaceport. The Defcon Corporation is working around the clock to provide the best systems possible, and we appreciate feedback, so please give us your thoughts below! We are aiming to create a vast array of high-quality parts for KSP, which are designed to bring exciting new features into your game, and to allow you to build bigger, and better craft. This will remain the sole aim of our mod, and we will not be considering making the mod compatible with other mods until the DC Aerospace mod is at a point at which we are happy with it. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause, but please note that this will give us more time to expand the DC Aerospace mod, meaning that we will be able to create parts of a much higher quality. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ DC Aerospace by EsvDefcon, MetalMouth7, and Deathsoul097 is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.
  24. Ah, I think that you're right I remember hearing about this, but I wasn't sure how you would go about doing this, so I'll take a look around Thanks
  25. Hi! I'm currently working on a new mod, and my 3D modeler has completed an awesome engine design! I've began work on importing it into the game, and I actually have it in the VAB: Apart from the obvious issue that there are hot flames flying out of the side, the model is looking really good! But I'm having some issues with using it in the game- you can't select it once placed. If you select it directly from the parts menu, then you can place it anywhere. However, when you try and select it in the editor, you can't click it. I'm really unsure why this is, so any help would be appreciated!
