  1. Hrm, that part should be commented out (or removed)

    Do the linPower/rotPower/Ki/Kp/Kd lines in the part.cfg start with // ?

    Oh jez, which version is in there LOL

    That could be a bit of a laugh :P

    Ive seen a few ctgs with the new stuff but Ive also seen a few with only module= SAS without the new lines. Sadly I couldnt tell you which ones for I have deleted most of the parts that I had from this pack except for a few of the engines and the balka trusses and panels :)

  2. Hey Rassa, have you got the kethane mod installed? its quite easy to use and implement in designs :)

    Yup Ive got it :) Ive just been having trouble building landers that are big enough to be worth mining. For example like that 40ton beauty above, I cant figure out how to build a rover mining rig while having the tank going horizontal while keeping it balanced not to mention the decent stage for landing it some where. I can usually get big stuff to orbit and to the place I want, Im just missing something somewhere. Im having no trouble scanning things so at least I have that lol :) I figured since alot of peeps have this mod someone could throw me a craft file if they were willing to help me with some inspiration into this world of Kethane :)

  3. Here's this from the KSP homepage :)

    Recommended System Specs:

    * 2.0Ghz Dual Core CPU or higher (preferably higher)

    * 4GB RAM

    * 512MB Video Card, Shader Model 3.0

    * 1GB Free HD space

    * Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8

    * An Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.6 or higher

    * A Debian based Linux distro

  4. This would also be of help to me as well! I am also new to kethane and have been having trouble designing ships that actually work for it :P This could just be the start of the Modcraft kethane exchange thread :D I was just aboutto post the same thing when I saw this one :) Good thinkin WarMachin32 :)

    Yeah mechjeb doesnt seem to like the new SAS system I think.

  5. -Snip-

    For reference, I cannot detach the wing if I click on the left of the red line, even if it KSP displays the wing with the green glow (it will select everything anyway). On the right of the line it will be OK, but I have no idea what parts large enough one would attach here on a Node Mk III. As you can see on the screenshot, I've tried several parts and couldn't detach them.

    It's extremely frustrating to rebuild my whole payload each time, as it took me several occurrences to figure out that the snapping angle was the problem. I'm particularly raging here because it was each time with a payloard constituted of mirrored Nodes Mk III, so I have to build each one manually (no copy possible) with accuracy, which takes quite a lot of time! :confused:

    I remember this being a problem with the some of the original Fustek parts back in the day and it was fixed I believe. Not sure if that would relate to the expansion series parts though or if it can be at all with these.

    Edit:

    Also are these parts killing peoples framerates? They look great but Ive got a crap computer so I try to be picky about the mods I use. Also if they are laggy is there a way they could be fixed to improve performance?

  6. So Ive been playing KSP since last December and Ive never posted a screenshot. So the questions are:

    1. How do I post a screenshot?

    2. What website is recommended for hosting the images?

    3. Anything else I should know?

    Sorry about the rookie question, I feel like such a newb :) lol

    Thanks

  7. Hmmm Ive never used KAS I think Ive heard of it though. I think thats kinda along similar line of what I was thinking also but Ive heard Kethane has a lower density than fuel and I dont want my tugs eating my finished product and that why I was thinking convert in orbit, but Im still not sure. That being said Ive had a couple failed landers already, I do like this though, it has brought some challenge back to KSP :)
