  1. KSP looks worse than Flight Simulator 2000. I wonder which game OP's computer has a better time running.
  2. This is probably going to sound really dumb, so apologies in advance. What exactly is this mod doing that the mods' it recommends aren't already doing? From what I can best understand, it's additional tweaks to "Modular Fuel System Continued v3.3+ RFRM"?
  3. Stupid question but doesn't fine controls negate the need for perfect placement of RCS thrusters?
  4. There's always a "massive performance upgrade" being implemented. I'm surprised the game can't run on a TI calculator yet. I'll believe it when I see it.
  5. You should rather make a thread for RBI Tracks Continuation and move all mention of it off the OP. And thanks, too, for picking it up.
  6. Could we have the flight computer available for vessels without probe cores but are manned?
  7. I.e.: "The devs have no obligation to finish something I paid them to finish!" There are games which are more complete than KSP's current state that are also $20. Unlike some of those games, we paid our $20 in advance instead of afterwards. That's the only difference. Not only that, we also pay them back by bug hunting and marketing the game via word of mouth before it's even gone gold. So yes, they are obligated. Not legally, no; but I'm hoping they have ethics.
  8. Yeah, just like a quality production from Bethesda.
  9. Thanks very much for this. One suggestion, could it be partless? Like with VOID, you can toggle the interface from a button by the HUD. You can keep the part in the download so that older vessels may still be loadible, this is what other mods that transitioned to being partless did. - Again, thanks for your hard work, Jack.
  10. I'm puzzled why some suggest more features for Kerbin such as cities and whatnot. Isn't this a space program? Besides, after playing a flight sim like FSX, you'll realise why some of us never bother with planes or atmospheric flight in KSP, it's very underwhelming. What I want is more detailed and interactable environments. I want to be driving my rover and having to avoid environmental hazards such as rivers, lava, wind, sinkholes and storms. I want my mining rig on Vall to hit a gas pocket that sends it into orbit because I wasn't careful with drilling. Imagine controlling a submersible in an alien ocean under an alien ice shelf/ceiling with your vessel's lamps being the only source of light and having to rely on your sonar and other instruments to navigate the dark depths. Sends shivers of excitement down my spine, man.
  11. Buzz and Neil won! A blow is dealt to the "lolsokerbal" crowd.
  12. I don't think some realise how much potential video games have for learning. In real life, you make a mistake and you are suppose to learn from it; but you also pay something back one way or another. With a game, there is only potential for learning (and anguish ); you're not expect to lose anything for it. It's what makes the failure fun.
  13. +1 This also makes so that you can use the mod with ships you didn't launch with the part!
  14. How at all would it be a free meal? The parts are already nearly zero in weight. VOID has already done this while still including the old parts so that crafts that still have the part can be used. It would also allow you to see the information on crafts that were launched without the part.
