  1. If you are still having trouble just dock as normal... Then undock and let your craft and let it drift backwards slightly. Realign, then just a slight puff of rcs should have you docked again all neat and straight.
  2. You just know its going to be ironic comedy gold when they mention at the very start of the show that they are in a stable EARTH orbit at only 20,000m!!!
  3. Shows how much research they put into the game...
  4. Like chicken said... Kind of, it wouldn't be so bad if they were actually TEACHING them about the general principles involved, but they weren't. Quite the opposite.
  5. What the hell did I just watch? No wonder kids are so stupid these days.
  6. Further testing of the TIE fighter SSTO Mk1 shown some major issues so I'm altering the design slightly... Its a bit harder than I anticipated trying to maintain its shape and still have enough TWR.
  7. These are really nice. Thanks.
  8. I'm working on a TIE fighter SSTO just now. Or at least Darth Vaders' variant of the design. (Not the one with straight wings) It's coming along nicely so far. Early tests show much promise. Some of these ships look nice too. the corvette is fricken sweet.
  9. If possible, I'd be grateful for a stylised TIE fighter with the planet Kerbin in the background. Favoured background colours would be black/dark blue or red.
  10. I'd like to know what you guys are working on now that we've got several new parts. Have you changed things up or are you continuing previous projects? Trying out interesting ship design perhaps? I scrubbed my old save and started fresh and am currently working on two seperate missions. 1) New Alpha Station in LKO. : at the moment I've only lifted the personnel pods. 5 Panopticon modules connected via a structural cube and the funnel shaped Mk1-Mk2 adapters. Screens to follow once the station is complete. 2) A TIE fighter style VTOLSSTO, using the Panopticon module and the new skipper engine as its rocket phase. The SSTO I'm particularly exited by. Preliminary tests are going smoothly and I hope to show you soon once it's design is perfected.
  11. Apologies. To clarify I am an "Xbox Gamer" who has been playing games since the original NES.
  12. On topic: no. No intelligent person would ever buy an Xbox One anyway. Not with all its flaws touted as "features" at its reveal.
  13. This. Is. Awesome. Post it in dev suggestions ASAP. Seriously.
  14. @Satcharna: and ignorant people like you in the PC community are awful also. People are people. Their chosen platform does not dictate what kind of person they are.
  15. Funny how loads of us have put significant time in since the update and have had no issues. Only a small minority have had problems. If these issues do indeed exist then going by the numbers, it stands to reason that it would be fairly easy to miss during tests.
  16. Shame they aren't as efficient as real sabre engines... Or at least, in KSP we still need to carry a crapload of oxidizer up with us.
  17. Unfortunately not at the moment. Download MechJeb. It can provide that exact data and much more, totally customized to your needs.
  18. Now this I could get on board with. Nice idea.
  19. If one of the teams manages to build a working SSTO Spaceplane this early into their kerbal careers you seriously need to give them like $10,000,000 Fizziksguy. I'm not sure about the Easter eggs though. Too much chance involved.
  20. If possible can I have posting privileges enabled also. Thanks. Username is the same on your site.
  21. Found a slight issue. You appear to have changed pic viewing permissions for guest users but not for new registered users. I registered to give odd feedback. sign in - pictures in .png format. Gives "don't have permission to view that" message. Sign out - pictures viewable on page. Signed back in to test - pics not viewable. Can easily work around it in the mean time.
  22. Just checked, we can see the screenies now. Good show.
  23. Ah I see about the parachutes. Ha! Reminds me of Scott Manley's "Reusable Space Program" series. Good idea halving the parts cost if they drop them sub orbit w/chutes. Hopefully everyone's not only having fun but learning something in the process. We'll be watching.
  24. I'll be following this. I find it fascinating reading their mission plans, parts list and execution. For example I see one of the teams is endeavoring to send a satellite into Kerbin orbit just now... Using two standard T30 engines and two T45 engines with one F400 fuel tank and 6 F800 fuel tanks. Obviously I can't see the pictures and thus can't see the rocket design, however I get the feeling that (as long as they can control the rocket) orbit should be achieved easily. With that much fuel being carried up I think they will have a vast amount of it left in reserve after orbit is achieved. Are you deducting points for things such as exess fuel being carried up when its unnecessary/inefficient? I see they are bringing parachutes also, I'm guessing incase they fail... Point deductions incoming I guess if they crash and lose their expensive hardware so parachutes mitigate the failure cost? I suppose the "point reduction" is sort of self imposed as if they are using up funds carrying extra mass it will eat funds from possible future missions.
  25. Good to see you sorted it out. Be sure to let us know what you think of the game. We'll try to help if we can.
