I've always wanted this and quite frankly I assumed it would have came with 1.0. Basically Economic Mode is starting off the game with all parts but limited money, and the rewards of each mission can be controlled via difficulty. Of course the KSP buildings would also require money to be upgraded. The idea is you can really choose how to begin your career rather than being so limited due to the science tech tree. So if you wanted to start mining as soon as you could, you can; if you wanted to collect data for scientists back on Kerbin you can, because contracts pay for data. Economic Mode would remove the limitations of science, but would still provide the player with a goal of becoming rich or having a space mining/tourist empire, rather than sandbox which is no more than training and testing. What is everyone else's opinion on this?

Nah actually it was because the recoil of the new 30mm ADEN cannons caused structural issues with the Vixen. -

Thank you! The Sea Vixen is next, and it's much bigger and faster than the Venom. It was also the first military fighter not to use guns or cannons. -

Some heaving modifications of my DH Vampire, addition of a tailhook and a new nose later... and we finally have a Sea Venom with a working tailhook! It is advised you see the Carrier Landing Instructions below images for how to correctly land STOL with the tailhook. Enjoy! Same plane, except Martin licence built the aircraft. The changed the RR Avons in place of P&Ws I think. Also the cockpit is different. -

It's early in testing, but has a slightly higher landing speed than the Vampire due to swept wings, less wing area etc. Nonetheless, it has more power and takes of very quick. The tailhook does work, but you need a speed low enough for it to touch the ground. Edit: I've also upped the brake torque from 5 to 8 on the Venom so it stops quick -

Thanks Kerbonauts! Oh she doesn't need much to get off the ground, in-fact she takes off by herself Landing speed is between 30 and 40 m/s. Any higher and it's a nosewheel landing haha! The flaps were the problem; they wanted to make the aircraft pitch down, so to counteract I added flaps to the elevator, only now if you use the flaps higher than 70m/s, well you're not landing any time soon... -

Why thank you! It's a WIP because it has major drag issues! As a result, it has 3 engines clipped into each-other to get it close to the max speed of the real aircraft. Also, I'm assigning action groups -
DOWNLOAD BOTTOM OF THIS POST I feel like there isn't enough oldie replicas about, and hardly any British aircraft. Therefore, I've decided the best thing to do is start making my own replicas again, starting from the earliest jets. I've seen a few meteors, but never have I seen any deHavillands. And so it is my pleasure to present to you the deHavilland DH.100 Vampire FB.5!!! -->DOWNLOAD HERE!<--
