  1. I was planning on sticking to real versions, but I suppose I could. I'll definitely be releasing the Mk.3 reheat version though.
  2. The Download for the Stock models are now up on Dropbox The Link can be found on the main first thread. Enjoy flying the Hunter
  3. Ah yeah the Swift! Also a nice place, but ran into technical problems so the Hunter was preferred and came out on top. - - - Updated - - - I've updated the video from private to unlisted... my mistake :3
  4. As my Hunter is nearing completion, I've added a poll for my next replica.
  5. It seems like your centre of mass is too far forward and/or your centre of lift is too far back. The nose is forced to the ground, and, assuming you have a single nose-wheel, the aircraft's nose-wheel will act like a fulcrum.
  6. Thanks guys for the positive comments and reps! I now have 3 save files for this aircraft; -Hawker Hunter -Hawker Hunter w/ 2 drop-tanks -Hawker Hunter w/ 4 drop-tanks These three saves are 100% stock I've worked out a lot of statistics for the aircraft; Hawker Hunter Fuel: 300L Standard. Endurance/range; @ 0m (0ft)Sea level: 57m50s (3,470s) / 710KM @ 3048m (10,000ft): 1h,1m,40s (3,700s) / 980KM @ 6096m (20,000ft): 1h,1m,34s (3,694s) / 1,250KM @ 9144m (30,000ft): 58m49s (3,529s) / 1,500KM @ 12,192m (40,000ft) : 1h,2m (3,720s) / 1,900KM @ 15,240m (15,000ft) : 1h,10m (4,200s) / 2,500KM Hawker Hunter with 2 drop tanks increases endurance by 24% and range by 19.7% to 850KM @ ASL and 3,010KM @ 15,240m/50,000ft Hawker Hunter with 4 drop tanks increases endurance by a further 11% and range by a further 8.2% to 920KM @ ASL and 3,270KM @ 15,240m/50,000ft Here are the three configurations parked together:
  7. Behold! My stock Hawker Hunter! It's a work in progress, so it's in early days. The Hawker Hunter is a subsonic British jet aircraft developed in the 1950s. The single-seat Hunter entered service as a manoeuvrable fighter aircraft, and later operated in fighter-bomber and reconnaissance roles in numerous conflicts. The Hunter was also widely exported, serving with 21 other air forces; 50 years after its original introduction it is still in active service, operating with the Lebanese Air Force. On 7 September 1953, the modified first prototype broke the world air speed record, achieving 727.63 mph (1,171.01 km/h). Hunters were also used by two RAF display teams; the "Black Arrows", who on one occasion looped a record-breaking 22 examples in formation, and later the "Blue Diamonds", who flew 16 aircraft. Overall, 1,972 Hunters were produced by Hawker Siddeley and under licence. In British service, the aircraft was replaced by the English Electric Lightning, the Hawker Siddeley Harrier and the McDonnell Douglas Phantom. Once complete I plan to provide a download pack including the following versions; -[STOCK (COMPLETE) and FAR versions;]- ---Without drop tanks ---With two drop tanks ---With four drop tanks ---Various BahamutoD's Armoury variants including rocket pods, sidewinders, bombs and Mavericks. Enough of the chatter... photos! Please bare in mind this is a work in progress, so my Hunter may look a little off. I'm happy with both appraisal and criticism to improve the aircraft before download is released to all DOWNLOAD HERE
  8. What's going on with the Basic Jet Engine? It spools up to about 85kN on the runway stationary. As soon as it picks up speed it spools down. The engine seems to have more power in a vertical climb, and very low thrust level or descending...
  9. This is a great attempt at the Vulcan! However the wings have the leading edge of the shuttle in later models, and the rear of the wing isn't swept. If you corrected the wing it would be a great replica
  10. How do I download this? For some reason I installed Github etc but still isn't doing a thing!
  11. There's a bang sound, and then the engine spools down. Its how a real flameout happens.
  12. A couple are from FSX, the rest are from surfing the web. I found FSX's sounds to be a little too drony at times and you could hear the loops. I based the engines on the FA-18 FSX and the RB211s from YouTube haha! Then the sounds were tinkered with on audacity so there's hardly any background noise.
  13. Hello there Kommitz! I was wondering if you could help me... I'm making a new sound/FX overhaul mod (ELEMENT K) and I was wondering if you could help me out with a couple of things, as I have already looked into your mod's CFGs for much help! :)

    1. Multiply sounds on one 'stream'? For example I want to use two sounds for engine 'running', but with different pitch and volume curves. How can I do this?

    2. Now using effects in CFG, the default FX do not work? Must I move these into the effects section, e.g under 'running' and 'flameout'

    3. How do I make visual FX? I have designed and I know how to texture very well, I just don't know how to get them working as FX.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks for your time!

  14. Oh right that mod! Haha! The sounds there are only changed due to the sonic boom cone, also interior sounds are merely muffled and the pitch changed. I'd rather have specific sounds for the IVAs, so I may need to develop a new plugin.
  15. For now, stock. Currently, the way I am using effects modules for the sounds has removed the visual effects... I need to work around that first.
  16. Not sure of which mod you mean, and I have tried it... doing this for the likes of aircraft in Flight Sim X was really easy, however KSP is totally different and I am lost lol
  17. Here's the full Turbojet sound range as it reaches maximum thrust.
  18. I'm planning to add an extra bass rumble you here on jet airliners at high throttle, however I'm not sure how to add a second audio file to the same 'running' effect.
  19. I have another sound file to be used as the deep bass on high thrust, however I do not know how to add it yet, as I can only seem to get one 'running' sound to work at once. the other sound is the power sound, which is the airy sound you hear, but that changes with the throttle and not thrust.
