  1. Hi, I'm finally running 64 bit client on Linux after reading the long long Linux compatibility thread. Now KSP is feeding 4.8 GB of RAM with tons of mods!! However, I found that hitting 'Enter' key in craft editor mode(both in VAB and SPH) automatically clicks the stage 'Reset' button and nullifying my asparagus setup. This is painful especially when I'm working on vehicle description since I cannot change lines when typing... Also, hitting arrow keys while the craft description window moves my camera too. Is there any workaround or solution? My OS is Gubuntu...errrr.... Ubuntu GNOME 13.10... I'll post my system spec if needed.
  2. It works just like the mod Subassembly Manager without category folders. But also has the same bug when your subassembly has a lot of parts: torn-off space tapes and cut out fuel pipes.
  3. I'm feeling So-So... But my rig is AMD FX [email protected] which has only 4 floating point calculation units and suffers from bottleneck of 8 cores when all of them trying to use such insufficient number of modules. It has been the same for 'simulation' type games such as MS Flight and even IL-2.
  4. Thing is, iMacs and Minis require heat dissipation control due to their form factor, how fancy they look like? But PC can drive itself with rather cheap custom CPU coolers higher than such All-in-One computer. Heck, you can even use water cooling solution too. So, yeah, the best answer to OP is: it is normal... this game is very very CPU intensive and not so optimized yet.
  5. Add more gadget modules, which were planned but not implemented due to optimization issue, to my Kerbin orbit space station.
  6. Here are my tug, explorer, and unmanned prove(with Mechjeb 2 part, if the pilot was transferred out. And oops, the designation doesn't seem to be unique xD Hercules 1B-10 This twin Rocketmax tank hauler ended up a most versatile craft from refueling a mothership, space station, and even some stranded SSTOs due to my design failures and lack of flight skill. Actually, there was A model with 4 Rocketmax tanks but they were not detachable and was too heavy to perform any space operation, even simple station docking. Actually, B-1~9 was a total failure even with less payload due to shortage of delta V. But B-10 was the first one hit the nail and operational. Although this shot was taken on a one way mission to Duna, to refuel a stranded mothership with weird orbital plane(almost 90 degree...), it can return to Kerbin. Hercules 1B-25 A usual day of Hercules 1B-25 with part number optimization, removing redundant central ASAS module and RCS thrusters which causes huge lagging when it operates around a space station. But this model still suffers from unwanted rolling when SAS is not operational(Also, I'm not sure that Rocketmax size ASAS are working correctly...), So, I've managed a bit more lightened version. Hercules 1C-2 Early variant of C model. It still suffers from redundant part system performance drag, but has better delta V than B variant when running a tug mission. Also, if one decides to feed from Rocketmax tank, it can reach Jool.. in theory. Still grinding for better designs!
  7. I dunno, never seen the second Jeb yet after he drifted away from Kerbin orbit and disappeared... But 5 yrs later, Jebski appeared on my crew list and he's just like the Jeb! and volunteered to be left in the Duna.
  8. I'm a grinder who always sends Kerbals to outer space without proper preparation and having hard time to get them back into Kerbin. Still can't save that guy stranded in Eve ocean...
