  1. The best soluton to a problem is usually the easier one. In essence is putting this suggestion on the WNTS list and train fanboys to point fingers at you and have your thread locked. As for your statement, other solar systems won't be around because we don't even know if the game is gonna progress that far to even have the feature implemented.
  2. This is not a very wise marketing decision. Most people in general hate educational games and educational things in games.
  3. So...it's the end user that has to determine wether or not his suggestion is a suitable fit or not? Don't tell me you seriously think half of the userbase of these forums has a sliver of knowledge of game development. Not very confident on how you pull that statement back on your last paragraph as well...
  4. Assuming the unlikely possibility that we will get 0.24...Better communication with the community that paid your salaries and was able to push the developing of your game to where it is now.
  5. KSP is going one direction at the moment, and that direction is downhill.
  6. Erm...Would that be possible without the whole graphical representation looking like a metro railways map?
  7. Static game area that's measurable ( thought you wouldn't really want to do so IRL ) is The elder Scrolls: Daggerfall. The Illiac Bay region where the game is played is around the size of Great Britain. Because think about it. One can easily fool other people about distances when we're talking deep space.
  8. Or if someone makes another "convincing mod", like happened with KMP.
  9. There is still no guarantee of anything. The fact that they are working on the things you say are confirmed doesn't mean that those things will be in 0.24
  10. Confirmed by who? If I may recall, there's a nice big disclaimer that states no guarantee of anything.
  11. Before this even can be considered, one must change the lackluster, crowded, unintuitive and imprecise interface of right clicking on kerbals and/or ship parts to do everything. Yes, you can map stuff to action groups, but later it becomes a chore, specially given the fact that you have to decorate which action group does what, limiting you to only a few action groups.
  12. The only thing that needs to be added is a way to replenish the xenon inside the tank. And, surprisingly, no one thought of a mod that adds a portable air separation plant into the ship, so you have infinite fuel while inside an atmosphere.
  13. I would only fix one statement in there. The only thing that dies of nostalgia are players that want broken features to remain, not Kerbals.
  14. Speculations and more speculations. All I sugest is that you hope that KSP is not a testing bed for, say, another goat simulator with steampunk zombies during world war 2 and the zombies were result of a secret alliance between the third echelon, illuminati and the nazis.
  15. To put it simply: People want either broken old features to remain for the sake of nostalgia or a very cloudy "the same functionality of XYZ mod, but not the mod itself."
  16. The site is absolutely gorgeus. Way better than that thing of evil called Curse Forge and at least 20 times more intuitive and functional.
  17. Not a fan of videos without spoken commentary that aren't gameplays only. I don't think this guy will get my vote.
  18. This is not the problem. The problem happens when someone has to do the work for you (a mod, for example) in order for something to be implemented on the game or "help convice the developers".
  19. KSP 2? There's not even a single guarantee that KSP 1 will be finished, let alone any possibility for a new game.
  20. There's no guarantee of that either, according to disclaimers the devs themselves put on their posts. In essence, we know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the game development. For all we know(nothing), KSP might be a testing bed for another goat simulator. And you know why that happens? Because SQUAD made it's community think like that. The whole multiplayer thing was an issue, not because of 'unbreakable statements'. It was because the whole thing was stated to 'not be mentioned, nor discussed' with an iron fist until someone made a mod that added a somewhat working multiplayer into KSP, then multiplayer magically turned into a possibility to be implemented. To cut to the chase, that leaves the impression that SQUAD has to have their work done for them before they implement stuff, which makes me think why the heck those updates take so long if the functionality is being done for them by someone else already. This is the issue.
  21. There's a serious issue with your developer philosophy and roadmap if your decisions are based on people modding the game to suit THEIR NEEDS.
