Is it me or Erfen is Thud from Krag's Planet Factory ? -
[Plugin][WIP][0.23.5] Custom Asteroids 0.2.1
Shepard replied to Starstrider42's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Looks very nice ! But one question, are some of these asteroids bigger than a class E one ( this means more than 18m radius ) ? If not, is it planed ? I would love big-a** rocks ( about a 100m in radius ) as minor moons of Jool or huge bodies in the asteroid belt. -
It would be also fun to have in the core game stuff like a much more user-friendly Planet Factory CE to create and share your own planets/systems, and the ability when you start a game to choose your system. Like that, you could choose between the standard Kerbol System, the Alternis System from Nova and whatever could get out from people's mind, there are few people on this forum who created very interesting and challenging planets.

[1.0.2]HGR 1.875m parts(v1.3.0 released)
Shepard replied to Orionkermin's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Well, I like the 2-steats capsule and it's texture. The look of the spherical pod is interesting but I don't like the texture very much. But it is still good stuff ! -
[1.3.1][Kopernicus]The Boris System (new planets) ADOPTED!! Finally
Shepard replied to medikohl's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I really love the look of the planets/moons ! They are really looking like stock game planets, which is perfect. Awesome job ! -
There is no way to make my imported textures work... How do you guys do that please ?
-
I can't add planets even if I do exaclty the same thing showed in the the video, thanks anyway.

[Part] Unnamed 4 Kerbal Capsule, Work in Progress
Shepard replied to S3416130's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
That capsule with stock-looking textures would be very nice. -
Mother of god... It will be awesome !
-
What ? Does that mean your plugin will include a mod/tutorials to make planets directly ?

Center of gravity shift parts
Shepard replied to Shepard's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
The problem of reaction wheels, as I said in my first sentence, it is that you need lots of them to make your craft stable enough. So it will consume lots of energy, make the plane ridiculously heavy and insanely reactive in every turning attempt. With a center of mass shifting section, it won't help you craft turning like a reaction wheel ( a 0.18 SAS block ), but it will only help at stabilizing the plane without turning it into a 500t spin machine. And don't talk about those crazy robotic parts that make your craft explode when you time warp... -
Extendable retractable wings
Shepard replied to Roderik's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Stock wings like that would be great. -
Center of gravity shift parts
Shepard replied to Shepard's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
That's the problem... By placing the right elements at the right place, you may still have problems piloting the craft when the fuel is getting low if you don't add tons of SAS, making the craft too heavy to fly, then you'll have to start from scratch again.... -
Center of gravity shift parts
Shepard replied to Shepard's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
And what do you do with Jet planes with almost one lenght of tanks, or with tanks placed side by side ? Your idea would almost make the plane even more unstable if you don't have a plugin that distribute the fuel correctly everywhere. -
Hi everyone. After playing a bit of Orbiter in the XR-2 Ravenstar Spaceplace, I was wondering why there is no center of gravity shifting systems like in this ship for KSP. It will consist in in-line or radial blocks with a moving mass in it to keep the center of gravity of the vessel in the most stable position possible with the center of thrust and the center of lift. It would be very useful for planes and space shuttles, allowing much better control of the craft ( how many times my nice crafts started going insane when the fuel started to be low... ), but also let the game be more gentle with "exotic" looking creations without adding tons and tons of SAS blocks that weight too much and make the plane a pain to pilot when you want to turn. Well, what do you think about it ?

Reminds me the cars from the racing game POD. That would be pretty badass.

What do you want to see in .23
Shepard replied to jmosher65's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Better Space Stations ( manned science modules ), Space telescope/observatory, Asteroids/minor moons for Jool and finally maybe a new planet, a Saturn analogue or a planet closer to the sun than Moho ( LAVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ! ) Well, guess that's enough ( too much ? Nah... ) -
At KSC, showing his badassery :
