BSC - Ravenspear Mk. 1 - And the winner is...
team.leit replied to Xeldrak's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
I agree with your conclusions, but my comment is that for ease of copying I personally want a plane that takes me a bit to understand and replicate. And yes FRAK-1 is more complex, but it just shows what you could do with aircraft if you wanted to! And that is my opinion @zekes not sure when the story is coming out or where on the forums i will be sticking it, cause i have barely started and already have two pages of stuff to review and edit and etc... so i will use the Squad registered trademark of Soon Kaos -

BSC - Ravenspear Mk. 1 - And the winner is...
team.leit replied to Xeldrak's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
one of the main reasons I chose zekes is because I have yet to build a ship that flies well and looks good, but he managed to do both, also I chose it is because of the superior handling when compared to any of the others @zekes would it be alright if I used your aircraft in a story that I am currently writing? BSC - Ravenspear Mk. 1 - And the winner is...
team.leit replied to Xeldrak's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
I just tried all of the aircraft that made it to the finals, and even though I don't like the fact that it has such a high part count, the aircraft that preformed the best when I flew it using a keyboard on my 6-8 year old pc, was zekes FRAK-1 Kaos -

Not if you are using an 6 or 8 year old pc that does not have any upgrades except adding two gigs of ram -

BSC - Ravenspear Mk. 1 - And the winner is...
team.leit replied to Xeldrak's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
the reason i voted for the FRAK-1 is because it had great handling when i flew it with a keyboard although i do agree with not liking the high part count. Kaos -

team.leit replied to PTNLemay's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange

Simple Modular Difficulty
team.leit replied to Ryu Gemini's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Or something that could be done is have it only for the career mode and have the sandbox remain unaffected by it, that way people could still share ships, they would just have to say if they made it in sandbox or if they made it in career then they would have to say the settings they used. Sorry for rambling on Kaos -

I also am new to the forum, but i have just one question, how well do you think these will fly with the far mod installed? Kaos -
it was the natural logarithm that was getting me, thanks for the practical example it most certainly helped, to everybody else thanks for your help, what i am trying to do is write it all out on a sheet of paper to show it to my dad as proof of work. So if i did my math right a rocket with a filled weight of 10.61 ton and a dry weight of 2.16 ton using a lv-909 engine should get me a net total of 8,141.4 m/s of delta-v right? ~Boomer Edit: never mind it gets me a vacuum delta-v of 6,089.6 m/s, but still thanks for the help though
