  1. I'm trying to make a circular orbit myself, as the maneuver tool for circularise is not working well, burning prograde when near to 20 seconds to apoapsis. I'm uploading the difference between m/s when I reach 10km. Ship #1 Ship #2

[Check last post, new question is there] ---> Check now Hello, I've been trying to get to the Mun and Minmus, I achieved to Mun without Mechjeb, but started to use Mechjeb questioning myself if it was cheating, as I read in some posts, it's not cheating, it's giving me info that I need in screen instead of going to map view and burning retrograde is so great with Mechjeb. Well, here comes the question. Ship #1: It can reach 10km and start going 90º in 45º, reach apoapsis 70km and when 20 seconds left to reach it, burn prograde and get a nearly circular orbit, all great, but not fuel efficent, just enough to reach Mun or Minmus, with no travel back. Ship #2: When I reach 7km or 10km, I start doing the same thing, 90º in 45º and the apoapsis or else grows too much in lesser time, which I thought it'd be good, but no, when I try from 20seconds left to start burning prograde the calculations go crazy and I get never a periapsis, just a escaping orbit if I could match the speed needed in less time I know Ship #2 is going faster, that could be the problem, but it lets me get higher with the liquid fuel untouched, that make me start thinking about making fuel orbiting depots around Kerbin, but the idea fades as soon as I can't put it in orbit, neither circular or not. Any ideas what I should modify or do? (They're the same ships but the #2 ship have larger solid fuel boosters) Thanks! InF3RNo.
  3. But how does an station gets refueled? I mean, if you set a fuel depot station in space it'll get empty after refueling some ships I guess? Or we're talking about a mod? I'm not well informed about mods? Checking interestellar mod, looks nice.
  4. Hello, I've been checking the mass of some fuel depots and I don't know how to calculate if they'll be good to add or remove deposits or they'll slow down the ship because the mass? Thanks, InF3RNo.

  10. Problem is as you can see in the picture, it requires a lot of acceleration since the apoapsis goes far and crazy, there's no way to do normal/antinormal without the apoapsis going far and crazy?
  11. Just installed the debugger, thanks for the info! I've been testing in KSC and tried to drill the kethane to a kethane deposit, but it's not working, I tried even putting the drills directly on the kethane tank and it's not extracting any, what am I doing wrong?
  12. I want to ask, what's the name of the item that decouples at the top of the kethane locator spaceship in the video? It's like more aerodynamic than putting something in the top without that.
  13. Problem is I'm now at my girlfriend's house with my laptop with my cell phone internet, and it has a limit of 2GB and I almost end it, then it'll be 56kb internet when finishes the 2Gb and I can't watch videos. I'll try to go to a friend's house to watch the video.

Hello, I had some problems to make the orbit circular, but now I got it thanks to stupid_chris, now I've got a new problem, when burning to south or north, this case south, to reach the Kethane deposit (the green hexagons on the map), I get my Apoapsis really far away, what point of the orbit should I burn south to get near to the green hexagons? (later I'll burn retrograde to land in the deposit, but for now I need to know this). A picture showing my problem:

Seems I was burning too much late and that was the reason of the weird orbits, now I'll open a new thread with a new question, how to make the apoapsis near when burning to south or north, in this case, to south to reach the Kethane deposit, I'll make this one as answered! This thread contains my new question

Hello, I don't know what's happening, I'm doing as always, waiting untli 10km, then head to 90º with my rocket and wait until 70-100km Periapsis, burn prograde on Apoapsis until I get a nice orbit but instead of that I'm getting really weird elliptical and fuel consuming orbits, how can I solve this problem? What am I doing wrong? Picture explaining better the problem below: Tried it again, but got much worse: Weird thing is as you can see in the images I've already put 2 satellites in an almost perfect orbit, something must be really wrong.

Well, I needed help to land with a rover that has drills on it with a kethane deposit, but I already asked that in the How to... and I was answered that I'll need to burn retrograde and that way I'll land wherever I need, so that's solved already . How do I turn on this debug mode? I'd like to test some things with that spawn wherever you need kethane, by the way what's KSC? Maybe Kerbal Space Center?

  19. Hello, I know how to make orbits around Kerbin, for example, but I need to know how to land in a place you want. In this picture we can see some green hexagons where there's Kethane (an extractable mineral from a mod, it doens't matter), I want to land there with a spaceship, how can I alter the orbit to make a land there?   20. If I uninstall it and install it, will my satellites in orbit with kethane detector be erased or something or they'll keep locating kethane? Anyways I can't reach any kethane yet, will need some help, hehe.
  21. Hello, I've downloaded and gave a tried to Kethane, it looks awesome, but I'd like to know, everybody have Kethane in same locations or it randomizes it for each game? Also I'd like to ask, I've discovered some kethane in Kerbin and I need some help, when I place the cursor over the kethane deposit on world map it says a number, does this mean that it can be finished off if you extract too much? Does it regenerates or when you extract it all... there's no more? Regards, InF3RNo.
