  1. ahahahahahaha what next thing we know someone will make a rollercoaster track with rovers for carts.
  2. Hey guys I have a new one. Just finished testing. Click Here For Download Antheraea Meet the Antheraea, a Single Stage To Orbit boasting a capacity of 4 kerbals. That's 1 full hitchhiker module! Its main purpose is to ferry kerbals, either from kerbin to LKO, or from LKO to wherever you want with refueling. With its twin nuclear engines, it's also very fuel efficient. In case you need to take off from other bodies, we have also provided you with an aerospike. Be warned though, we have not tested its SSTO capabilities on bodies where jets do not work. Of course, aside from its impressive status as a 4-seater, it also carries with it not one, not three, but TWO clamp-o-tron srs. This is not something that you often see on SSTOs due to its status as a 2m part, so in case your space station has a few of these big boys, this is your chance! P.S.: I like to call the wing tank-engine configuration the "Nuclear Vortex Turbine". Tee hee~

  4. Yeah, the Butterfly name is more of a holdover from my old planes. They all have that twin nosecone design, but vary a lot otherwise.
  5. Get craft here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/e74twqznwfl73i9/Butterfly%2020_2.craft Features: 1 Turbojet 2 909s 4 Shielded Docking Ports, arranged using bicouplers for stable and less wobbly docking to your stations. 6 Ram Intakes (without too much stacking abuse) Gratuitous use of the new side connector part Lots of wing parts crammed into an elegant and unobstructive form Sufficient RCS for a few docking attempt The Butterfly line's signature Twin-Nose design Lack of struts Flight instructions: For those familiar with how to fly SSTOs, the standard procedure works. Otherwise, here's a step by step: - Deactivate 4 of the intakes using action group 2 - Roll down the runway and take off as soon as possible - Climb at around 45 degrees until intake air levels drop to around .07 - Activate the rest of the intakes using action group 2 and climb until intake air levels drop to around .1 - Start levelling out and gain speed while climbing slowly to prevent the jet from burning out. In the event of a flame-out, the single jet design should prevent the craft from spinning. Simply lower your altitude and try again. - Accelerate using the jet until you reach at least 1100 m/s. 1200 should be possible if done right. - Angle up carefully while trying not to flame-out. Once sufficiently angled upwards (>30), stage to activate the rocket motors. (Staging does not shed parts) - Once the jet finally flames out, shut it down along with all the intakes using action group 1 - Raise your apoapsis to >70 km. My own standard orbit is at 72 km so that's my target. Anything above 75 is not guaranteed to succeed. - Coast to apoapsis - Start circularizing at about 5 seconds to apoapsis, adjusting your angle so that the apoapsis stays under 5 seconds ahead of you. - Congratulations, you now have reached Low Kerbin Orbit! Let me know what you think and such ok?
  6. I did email them again. No response at all.
  7. Revision of the above, now with my favourite twin-nose thingamajig That single turbojet packs more punch than I expected.
  8. I was here for a while, then I accidentally entered the wrong Steam username while trying to transfer my KSP to steam. After trying to contact the customer service to no avail, I stopped playing for a few months. Finally caved in and bought another copy from steam, but still that sucked. Now I'll be missing on future DLC, but eh, whatever :/ I also noticed that the forums have been reset. I suppose I should reopen the workshop. My favourite ships are SSTOs. I've been trying to make one big enough to tow space station parts into orbit, but it has proved to be rather difficult so far aside from the smaller modules. Here's a sample of my work: comes with 4 docking ports, 2 to each side spaced using a bicoupler. Allows for strong, wobble-free docks and cool looks.
  9. Comes with 4 docking ports! Flies like a brick! Reaches LKO 10 times out of 10! Brought to you by the remnants of TinyBuilders Workshop
