  1. i was thinking of doing this for a while, not a challenge has showed up, this has to go on my list btw FAR is allowed right? here's my floating landing strip more stable than expected, but a gap in the middle was kinda unexpected tho. it was 2 craft docked together it's infinitely expandable. havent tried lading on it though. i still trying to make a plane small enough that could takeoff and land at 20m/s speed. i'm just scared vtol would be too heavy
  2. so we need to stop once in a while just to recharge?? because we wont be able to store enough electricity....
  3. lol, dont do it all at once, do it bit by bit, updating every little time of the way a question we cant make it with infinite fuel. but are we permitted to send a refueling probe/plane?
  4. let me post my try.... i tried to make a MONSTER TRUCK.. instead.... it ended up as a MONSTROUSITY TRUCK..... much MUCH bigger than what i anticipated..... and that's still not the max size. i could still go nuts and make it a BUS....... with 2 or 3 levels (never see that one do you?) it's not the prettiest thing you will ever see, since im not really good with it, also for the small touches.... but what i do care is the functionality.... everything works and i did a little rule bending there (because solar panel just doesn't go along with a Monster with reputation for a gas guzzler) so it's a Hybrid Monstrousity Truck.... HyMouT for short..... (i thought HMT is just too plain simple) it has 2 nuclear engine, each limited to 10% max power, it's just for the 'Range Extender' according to mazda.... it's main purpose is well, produce electricity. altho it's slightly pointing towards the back, so it does a very, VERY small amount of forward thrust, but not enough for a forward motion more than 0.5m/s. it also has some blinkers on the back (because somehow i forgot to put the blinkers on the front) with num 5 and 6 as it is a Monster Truck it cant go fast at all, max speed is 13.8m/s altho for some reason it wouldnt turn when it's going faster than 13.3m/s PS: please disregard the other vehicle included in there, i uploaded without rechecking, left my computer uploading (cause my net IS that slow) left it too long and i cant edit it anymore
  5. unique parts??? so pretty much we'll only be building with 1 pod, a decoupler or some, 1 type of fuel tank and 1 type of engine??
  6. what mods arent we allowed to use? because with B9 and KW rocketry, it's would rather be pretty easy. unless you have FAR, which i do
  7. last page, i did say FAR do some kind of tweaks to the atmosphere, it makes it thinner, yet it makes any moving parts on an airplane have a lot more drag. so in this case a dragster with no actual aero parts would benefit, but it also add to the instability, not all craft are stable both in non-FAR and FAR.
  8. my second try..... my god this thing is ridicolously hard to stabilize the success run rate of this thing is like 10-20%, i need to retry around 10-15 times just to get it to NOT crash sorry i forgot to put the name here i still named it the 'Dragor 2' 435m/s but made it to the start.... extra 100 points right? there's no rule you cant reverse to the start with solid booster right? besides, it's not i like i meant to make the boosters have extra fuel, the extra fuel initially used for offsetting the weight slightly to the front, i didn't planned to use the booster to make it back

FAR makes the atmosphere thinner so it is kinda easier to fight the drag, but ever thought that thinner atmosphere means less stability?? also FAR also deviates the physics a bit so it's slightly more realistic, and in some parts, more drag? all that, still i agree to make it a separate Bracket race anyway here's my try (Dragor 2(because Dragor 1 only managed around 250m/s) (used FAR and KW rocketry) i need a lot of tricks just to get it to run stable enough.... like for one, i cant start at 100% throttle, i need to start at 50% and increase it to 100% while accelerating after 4 hours of tinkering around i forgot the most important thing...... THE KERBAL!!!!! D**** it be right be with the new tweak later today, or tommorow

  11. i just did 453Km/h named the dragor..... now to do it again and screen cap it this time....... which im kinda confused how to.... it has 2 problem, it success rate is not 100%, i need to retry a couple of times to get it as high and not crash. secondly, im running this game on a AMD laptop(which sucks on lower count threads tasks, otherwise it's really good), and the timer is yellow, which means the physics is not running at 100% speed, i dont know if that adds to the instability, or is that actually making it stable.
  12. i'm having the same thing. even worse. i'm climbing AND speeding up here is my tiny unmanned plane. it's the simplest plane i've made yet only using 1 of that small orange engine thingy.... well, it took full throttle and half a tank to take it to flight half more to speed it up. and i'm surprised that it infinitely gliding here's the flight. ane here's exactly 1 minute later, look at the time, speed , altitude, and fuel and does control surfaces really have thrust?
  13. exuce me, i'd like to ask 3 questions. 1. does this mod work sied by side with the NovaPunch 2.01, the most recent one, 'cos it's just been released just a week ago. 2. i can't load my rocket. but when no problem loading a plane anyone know why? 3. well this one not relevant to this mod, but, is this game more CPU bound, or GPU Bound?, and does this game support dual graphics systems? im running on a ASUS K43TK laptop A6-3420m @1.5 HD6520G2 (IGP) + HD7670m 4Gb RAM. (i set it to only spare half a gig for the IGP)
