Three lines and he's already made a Simpsons reference. I like this guy.

I can't get an imgur album to load.

So...like this? EDIT: Sorry, totally works, just wanted to try it here before I confused someone else by referring to a nonexistent album. -
Controlling Kerbals in EVA
IndigoCypher00 replied to IndigoCypher00's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Yeah, this was a totally new realization to me. Much obliged! -
Very cool. It would be rather hard to recreate these with stock parts, but maybe with the awesome modding community it could be done...

How can I get a mod part to work in career mode?
IndigoCypher00 replied to Odo's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Yeah, so funny story about that--I was actually editing the CFG files that were in the DOWNLOAD; i.e., the ones I copied into my GameData folder. I have them working now -

WAY bigger. IIRC, the electrical output is like 400 per second. They look gorgeous though, and are a better aesthetic and performance alternative to spamming a bunch of Gigantors on your craft. I got them from the KOSMOS station mod here. The problem is, however, that whenever I type the tech level and the entry cost in, as soon as I X out, they disappear, even if I hit save. I can't get them into career mode, which is a shame. -
How can I get a mod part to work in career mode?

So I've done this a few times, and now I want the KOSMOS Balka Solar Arrays in (the absolutely massive panels). I copied the code line from the Gigantor Panels, which are in [largeElectrics] and put them into the editor parameters part of the Balka panels and restarted KSP. But they still won't show up. What might have caused this? -
Tips and tricks you found out yourself

Realizing that interplanetary transfers can work the same way as orbital rendezvous' was HUGE for me. So was learning how to tilt a lander to adjust the landing site off a slope. This, of course, came after I found out you had to burn retrograde to land and not just literally straight up. -
Now, by this, I don't mean how to use the jetpack to strafe and float around a station. Actually, I'm talking about flipping your Kerbals over. Like, in some of the Danny2462 videos where he flips a falling Kerbal upside down and bounces him to safety. How does he do that?

I seem to have a problem downloading this mod in .22. I had the last version since .21. When I start up KSP, the loading screen gets stuck when it starts to load in the Interstellar parts. First the MPD engines weren't working so I deleted them. Now the thermal nozzles won't load. Do we know of a fix for this? Thanks. I really want to use this mod to extend the length of my career playthroughs.

Burning directly up and not retrograde during my first mun landing was an experience. Oh yeah, and that one time I jettisoned all my engines from my station so it would be more aesthetically pleasing. Several LKO rescue missions ensued. And of course, I have to throw in the moment I realized a mun lander could be under 240 parts.

Historical Aircraft Thread

I was just thinking about a messerschmit style rocket-plane, actually. I'll see if I can make a look-alike with stock parts. -

Might have posted this somewhere else, but once I was playing around with the Mission Controller Extended mod by malkuth. To cut costs, I went without MechJeb on the Munar Orbit/Return Mission. Everything worked great until I got to the point where I needed to head back home. I guess in my unbelievable astonishment at my first manual Mun insertion, I had forgotten to put static solar panels on every side of my probe body. It went dead literally seconds before I started my escape burn. I had to wait ten minutes real time at only 100X Time Warp for the Sun to swing around. It did eventually, and I got juiced up and immediately fired prograde for Kerbin. Kerbin capture and aerobraking went well (hard to mess that up, really), and I was overjoyed...until I realized it was night, and I couldn't deploy my parachute. -
143. Being at 10,000X time warp when entering Minmus' SoI and having your game freeze.

119: Falling of the forward canard of a landed plane 120: Having your clamps in the wrong stage 121: Landing on a cliffside on the Mun 122 Thrusting directly up while landing and not at retrograde. You suck, horizontal velocity. 123. Over-maneuvering on the runway and slamming your wings into the ground. It's a rover, I meant to do that. Lift is overrated.

Banned for making a misleading first segment of a reply and then having to use parentheses to clear it up. The nerve of some people.

I installed this mod (after some difficulty with the .RAR) tonight, played through a couple stock missions, had a lot of fun, and then accidentally right-clicked out of the MC window while in KSC overview. I was trying to select my next mission. Now, I can't pull up the MC screen anymore. The tab at the bottom of the screen is still there, but nothing happens when I click it. Everything else in the game works fine. I've tried quitting the game and restarting (a lengthy process due to the obscene amount of mods I have), but still I have the same problem. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Are any of the aforementioned mods creating an issue? I can get a list if you need it.
