Why did it need to be two halves again? -
Noticed that it\'s very unstable during a high-angle turn or a dive. Not much turning ability, either. Seems to relatively stable, besides some roll, on level flight. Personally, I haven\'t had much success with small designs like this, but I think that something must work. Perhaps add dorsal and ventral C7 tailfin parts instead of the canards you\'ve got on there. Maybe more control surfaces, but not placed using the symmetrical tool, since that\'d cause snap-roll. They\'d act as elevators, not ailerons, then. Should make turning easier.

EB-116C and XF-204R (Earth Aircraft Replicas)
Feragorn replied to Goddess Bhavani's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I\'d scale it up gradually, go for two engine fighters next, but you still have to get the in-line thrust issue. I\'ll see what I come up with. -

Not sure if troll... ... or just too lazy to either DL the .craft or build one himself. It flies, but barely. Very workable though. Prone to spinning out at weird angles. -
Because it lands on the moon. There\'s an orbital component, but it\'s not the main part of the mission.

Saturn V Parts Pack (v1.1) (NEW: Fixed PNG's)
Feragorn replied to KingTramp's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I\'m from Birmingham, I go up there when I get the chance. Even if we just pass through, I always love driving by. That place was a staple of my childhood. -
Saturn V Parts Pack (v1.1) (NEW: Fixed PNG's)

Drove up to Huntsville, AL today. Drove past the two Saturn V\'s they have at the Space and Rocket Center. I was the only one on the bus excited about seeing them. -
You\'re not supposed to get roll control. They\'re placed separately, so you only get pitch. You don\'t need it though, the craft has enough roll control without flaps.

That math doesn\'t make sense...

I\'d consider it a present, but only since Hanukkah and Christmas overlap this year...

Wheels would be nice. Actual ones. I think I\'m going to try and put some landing skids on the wings, maybe that\'ll do it. -
Archangel Research And Defense Systems

Which craft? The Sparrow glides only as a landing procedure, since its mission is on an extremely short timescale. The Lancer glides relatively easily, since the wing code allows for vertically placed wings to generate lift (I think. If not, then it\'s generating enough already). I\'ll put the .craft files up in some time so people can start playing around with these. -
Archangel Research And Defense Systems

Now that that\'s been cleared up, I was thinking this would be a 'functioning' Aerospace corporation. So, interacting with the R.R.D.K.Q.C. and contracting for the Royal Kerbal Military or something like that. -
Archangel Research and Defense is proud to mark its syndication with the public announcement of two breakthrough designs, the LF-20 Sparrow and PF-12 Lancer. The LF-20 Sparrow is a short range point-defense aircraft armed with two Devastator Railguns for quick, effective defense of any strategic objective your government or corporation might have. A light, maneuverable fighter, it can quickly engage and destroy incoming enemy hardware leaving you and your headquarters safe. We\'ve even taken the liberty of adding landing skids as a complimentary feature. We weren\'t lying. This test pilot landed mostly successfully, with only the loss of the main engine and a corresponding pay reduction. He\'s more fortunate than the last one, who lost the entire back half of the aircraft and was immediately sacked. The PF-12 Lancer is a mid-range fighter, armed with one in-line Devastator railgun and two underslung Wasp air to air missiles to engage and destroy targets from a slightly further distance. Its ingenious bent wing design allows for effective lift production and stability, while wingtip canards provide lift and maneuverability. Our corporate mercenaries test pilots successfully evaluated the dogfighting and ground-attack capabilities of the Lancer by destroying our chief competitor\'s fleet a remote controlled fleet of target drones over a few hundred kilometers. The railgun is mounted along the dorsal side of the aircraft for stability purposes and to facilitate the underslung missiles. So give ARAD Systems a call today and secure your future! We trade on the Kerbal Stock Exchange as ARAD, call a licensed broker for stock information. Archangel Research and Defense Systems is not liable for any bodily injury sustained during a declared conflict between two governmental bodies with ARAD Systems equipment being used to inflict those injuries. Inter-corporation conflicts are subject to a tribunal of business associates. Lancer has been slightly modified from above pictures, both ships now have the updated high-capacity railguns. That\'d take some serious ground-effect vehicle magic... Which gives me an idea.
