  1. Is it really worth developing an alternate to kOS instead of contributing resources/ideas to the existing system that has an audience? Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking your work, but it does seem a shame to fragment what is probably already a fairly small userbase.

  6. OP, I agree. Naming, and fluff in general, usually takes up 50% of my KSP-playing time.   9. My little bro watched/helped me design my first ever Munar lander. Best weekend ever. Got him so hooked he asked for the game for his birthday
  10. I use a similar system to OP OS(M)-04B ACROPOLIS OS(M): Orbital Satellite (Manned) 04: Fourth design of an OS(M) B: Second iteration of 04 design Acropolis: The height of civilisation :3 It's great for finding vehicle designs quickly in the 'load file' window.
  11. I tend to do go through missions from start to end in my head nowadays, checking I have all the necessary bits and bobs, because this happens way to friggin much for me. A checkbox ingame... or a pen and paper on the desk... is massively useful.
  12. Yeah... after a good few hours when you end up with a design using 20 orange tanks and 18 SRBs to launch a satellite... you realise you may have over-engineered something
  13. As soon as 0.22 hits, I'll be starting a new save following this exact principle :3 Up until then, however, they're my disposable command modules
  14. Also: does the mun appear the same to everyone, or is everyone's terrain map different?

  16. Considering they're just 'vehicles' when they leave the hangar/building, I'd assume they already kinda do in practice.

  18. This video's given me a much greater respect for the game developers, for knowing what technical challenges they've faced with features we might otherwise take for granted as 'doable'. Gives me a bit of context when I internally wish they'd add X, Y and Z to the game. Just a shame they ran out of time to wow the audience
