  1. Hi, I love this mod and I'm so glad someone is keeping it running. I can report its working fine on my save which I am very happy about! So thanks. I do have a query regarding attaching objects that is KAS/KIS related. I understand that in order to attach an object from an inventory you need 1 Kerbal per ton. My problem come when I want to attach parts where more than 6 Kerbals will be involved as space starts to get limited. I'm wondering if I'm potentially missing a game mechanic? If a crane was involved using winches and such and a heavier object moved into place to the point where it is very close to the attachment node, is it possible to connect it using fewer Kerbals given its proximity?
  2. I'm loving the idea behind this pack, however I'm having a couple of small issues. I have this mod installed via CKAN so assumed everything would run smoothly. For some reason the "bitts" arent in game, and I can't access any right click menus on parts for condensing water etc in order to make the bitts and blisters work. Any idea's what could be causing this? From what I can see, I don't have any mods installed that could conflict with it, but I'm not 100%, On another note, will this become tweakscale compatible as I'd love to be able to scale the part sizes to build bigger ships!
  3. Thanks for the response, hadn't even considered the reasons you mention there! My main concern was that it was too big for my airfield to launch it as it only takes vehicles up to 15m!
  4. Just discovered this mod recently and love it! A bit gutted the colors aren't texture switchable in game, but I can live with that. My only query is, have the power modules been released yet or are they a WIP as I can't find them in my game. And also the objects that you have attached from the cab to the power modules in one of the pictures (almost look like exhaust pipes).
  5. Not sure if it's been mentioned or not, but (not sure about the wheels) but definitely the tracks show up at an absurd size in the VAB. Basically when adding tracks to a vehicle, it is increasing it's size massively. Pics included here http://imgur.com/a/d9xVu#0 Edit: I thought I should probably mention as well that the tracks in the picture have been made larger via tweakscale to 140% so that they fit the vehicle better, however, the issue still occurs when they are at default size, they just show up as a slightly smaller length, (around 80-90m)
  6. Hi Backau, I started in the same boat a few months back, now I've been to the moon and back and building space stations around Kerbin and the Mun. Where did I learn? Youtube! If you search for Scott Manley, he has a few excellent tutorials for beginners and that's where I learned what I know. There's a couple of others I subscribe to as well but I can't remember their names. Basically if you just search Youtube for KSP tutorials, you'll find a welath of knowledge.
  7. I know that with the Lazor system mod (http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/lazor-system/) when using one of the Lazors you can use that to dump fuel through one of the subsystems.
  8. Absolutely love this idea. I was experimenting with VTOL dropships last night and thought how much easier it would be to control if you could set up throttle groups. In conjunction with a saitek throttle quadrant it would bring new found awesomeness!
