  1. Absolutely not. Martian environment is for most intents and purposes vacuum. Pressure is so low water can't exist as a liquid. Partial pressure of CO2 is below any tolerance for any photosynthetic organism on Earth.
  2. I made an error with the shield - it was too small, so I launched it once again. After that, as promised, the command module and cryonics. It is slowly getting its shape.
  3. That novelty feeling will return when new places are added. My suggestions: - at least one more gas giant, preferably with rings such as Sentar (PF) or Sarnus (OPM) with shepherd satellites, icy spherical ones, Titan like one (OPM did it superb) - comet (rendezvous with such body offers great fun) such as Ascension (PF) - sungrazing planet such as Ablate (PF) which is enormously difficult to reach
  4. If the current ugly skybox was replaced with a more realistic one (oinker's skybox), the game would look a lot better. That, plus refurbished atmosphere (no need for resource eating clouds for now, but that awful white horizon can be changed) and better textures for some parts would make the game look a lot better. It's a small effort that would turn out great.
  5. Community grows on nutrient called lore. Lore can't be synthesized at an optimal rate if you don't give precursors to it such as new worlds (Kerbol system has not changed since a long time ago), in-game animations, etc. Only the best fans produce it in this environment. I've been telling these things for a long time now.
  6. I used Spanish there. Indeed. I find it amusing. The Minmus. Reminds me of "the Picard".
  7. I remember Ike having extremely low albedo in certain areas, but not anymore. I miss that.
  8. Jool has five natural satellites, and Earth has one called the Moon or Ûуýð or MÃ¥nen or Mjesec or la Luna or Σελήνη or MÄ›síc. Mun is Mun. It's not the Moon. Just Mun.
  9. No. I'm pretty sure they did it unintentionally.
  10. I don't know about in-game, but that's wiki, written by volunteers such as me. "The Moon" is a weird English rule and obviously does not apply to green creatures who speak gibberish, but people don't think about it so they often use it. That probably happens in certain places in the actual game, too.
  11. Yes, it is the north pole of Moho. South pole is nothing interesting. Flat and quite dark nothing.
  12. It is supposed to be Mun, not the Mun. Mun is not the Moon. It's Mun, and there's more to this than just grammar rules.
  13. The lander and heatshield are in equatorial circular orbit a bit above 160 km. Next stop will be launching of the command module made of a 3.75 m capsule and a cryonic chamber.
  14. I don't think this design is capable of reaching Stella and returning home, unless the number of parts was very large, something my computer can't manage. What Kron does is it uses a 3.75 m ship to deliver a station assembled from a lander and the 3.75 m habitat module, and then returns home, all with several very realistic mods. I could go to Stella if I ditched all that, but that's not the point of this series. Maybe one day with another series. Keep me informed of your project.
  15. Those yellow things... they activate the fireworks under the seat?
  16. It seems that the ship's design has been finished. I always leave some speculative gray zone with regards to the total delta v, so I did it now, too. This is the lander which is capable of landing and ascending from Slate, Eeloo and Tekto. After aerobraking, the shield will undock from it, the ship will dock to the shield, and the lander will do a Slate mission. Upon return of the ascent stage, the lander redocks with the shield and the ship, goes to Tekto, etc. And this is the ship, in its transient configuration. Soon I'll start assembling it in low Kerbin orbit.
  17. Oh, I'm not gonna make my gameplay any more harder than this. This is already proving to be mildly annoying and I don't want it to become worse. I don't really have the time to make another ship. This is the only thing I'm working on and hopefully it will complete its mission before KSP gets updated. o.o Those are ALCOR and Taurus HCV capsules which are used in Kron series.
  18. Yeah, probably, but bandwidth stealing happens when the image is loaded. Almost nobody looks at old threads where most of those screenshots end, so I don't understand the need for this. Surely they can cope with some hotlinking...
  19. I don't like Imgur, and the screenshots are already on Steam, so there's no need to reupload them.
  20. In case you've wondered why your hotlinked images from Steam don't work, it's because they've changed their URLs. Example - we had this: http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/bunchofnumbers/bunchofnumbersandletters/ And now we have this: http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/bunchofnumbers/bunchofnumbersandletters/ I've noticed my screenshots are missing so it's time to repair them... until the next wacky move by Steam administration.
  21. I think this mod needs more exposure. This is something we need to see in the stock game performance.
  22. Of course this is not dead. This is the current design. I'll probably have to send some fuel there before the ship takes off as the additional safety measure. DRE, RTG decay, TAC, this pack really creates lots of trouble.
