I'm having this issue too, on OS X. I have to keep deleting SMSettings.dat in order for it to show up on the built-in toolbar again. And it never shows up on the blizzy toolbar.

Does anyone know of any mod to see the location of moons (and planets) at some arbitrary point in the future? That would make planning gravity assists so much easier. As it is now you only see the position if your maneuver node happens to enter the SOI, so I wind up just fiddling with the maneuver nodes until it happens to enter the SOI, using the orbital periods of the moons to kind of guesstimate about where they'd be.
