Strange CoT problem (bug?)
Floule replied to Floule's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Okay, thanks for that. Looks like I wasn't clear enough about my main problem. When I try to fly with this craft, it acts like not only the nuclear engines are burning, but also the upper two engines. Of course, the upper two engines aren't fired up, but somehow the craft acts like they are. Any ideas about that? -
Strange CoT problem (bug?)
Floule replied to Floule's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Thanks for the fast reply! But no, thats not the problem, I tested it right now, and proper staging makes no difference. -
Hello guys! Since several days I have a problem with some strange CoT issue which stops me from building my first mun base. Here is a screenshot: Link As you can see, the section with the nuclear engines is seperated from the upper part. But the CoT ignores this, and combines the nuclear engines with the two in the upper section. Flight behavior is as expected with this CoT, completely unflyable. May be relevant: I created the upper part in the SPH, and transferred it to the VAB(Yes, I did change the "type=VAB"). I then proceeded to add the nuclear engine section. Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround?

Yep, at the moment I'm flying with sailplanes, because I'm not old enough for engine aircraft's. But yes, in Switzerland there are a lot of Piper Cubs, and of course Cessna's (The bicycle of the skies ) Thanks for all the answers guys, I will try the IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946. I also found out about IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover. It has a nice modding community, which keeps the game alive.

Hey guys! I'm searching for good WW2 Flight Sims. And I mean Simulators, not those arcade games, like "World of Warplanes" Of course I am willing to pay for a good simulator. I'm thinking of things like: Realistic plane-handling Dog-fighting Real planes, like the Spitfire or ME109 I also fly in real life, and always wanted a game that takes me back to the "Real flying", where not everything is controlled by a computer.

I don't think this is the one you mean but anyway: Star Wars Battlefront 2 It's a great game! Fits your information quite well. Steamlink

The new Devnote's are here! Take a look at it: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/65242-Devnote-Tuesdays-The-Happy-New-Year-Edition?p=895272#post895272 Until now, no information of what's coming up with 0.24. But they really deserved a break! They did a great job last year!

Think KSP's Aerodynmics are bad? Think again...

That's why it's GTA and not KSP I think that nobody is complaining about this, it's fun to play with bugs such as this one. -

The map is from the official wiki, so I'm pretty sure it's right. -

Welcome to the forums! Here is a good map: As you can see, from "Kerbin" to "Low Kerbin Orbit" there is the number 4550. Well ,that's it -
Pilot! When I'm flying with my dad (Piper Cub, mostly) there is just some sort of feeling. It's really hard to describe, but i feel home when I'm in the air. So, pilot would be the perfect job for me. I just hope my eyes won't get worse, because I already have glasses and my correction is getting near the limit for commercial pilots. But I think I surely will find a flying-related job
