  1. Yeah, what about that? The Sun is white in the Solar System, why is it yellow in KSP? Or maybe there are mods for changing Kerbol white in the orbit?

  3. I did a test on Minmus and seems like the exact height for the border between low and high orbits is indeed 30 kilometers. So then, thanks a lot for help!
  4. Well, saw that and I don't really understand it. Let's take Minmus for example: the table says the border between low and high orbit stands at 30 km, or am I wrong?

  6. I found a mod, Stork lander or something in that fashion, and that is a really nice and huge landing gear with room for 2 mks modules inside it. Just make the engines on top of the lander and it will be fine. Also, I think I will build these landers in orbit, there's no chance I'll send them into space with FAR.
  7. Hello. I am using USI Kolonization mod, and I'm trying to make a skycrane for my base elements, I can't use the parachutes because no atmosphere. I need wheels as well so I can move the element closer to the base. I'm using KAS too, I've seen a nice skycrane on ShimmyTheJJ's livestream, he called it "The Crab". I don't know how to build one myself. Does anybody have a craft file or a subassembly of a similar design? Or maybe there's some blueprint flying around?
  8. Whoah, it's that easy? I think the orbit should be synchronous with Kerbin though, and there should be 3 sattelites. As far as I know Kerbin day counts 6 hours, so every sattelite should be lifted 2 hours after another, but how if one sattelite is in the place already, above Mission Control? This is how my sattelite looks:
  9. Hello. I'm trying to play KSP with RemoteTech 2 mod, and I can't get any satellite working, I lose control over the vessel close to the circularization burn. Is there anybody who could help me make those first steps with the mod? Wiki didn't help much, I just got more confused...
  10. Named my spacestation KOSS - Kerbin Orbital Science Station, and my first Mun missions Pollux (I, II...). All my sattelites are called [object]Sat [number], for example: KerbinSat I, MunSat IV. Pretty straightforward, isn't it?

  12. I have to agree with Thomas988, in prior updates I wouldn't even touch Career mode, but THIS update brought a fresh feel to this game. you can actually feel like a Space Agency manager, pilot and space pioneer. It's like a brand new game!
  13. That's great! I'm playing Career as well, didn't get anywhere else than Kerbin and Mun yet, but I have everything researched from the 2nd tier R&D (nuclear engines and all those). The strange thing: I've had a mission end just a few minutes ago, it was a mission to Mun and back, got back with loads of Science, got like 2500 Science from ONE place on the Mun! (playing with DMagic Orbital Science mod, lots of new scientific objects to use) Research happened, now going to sleep. Tomorrow's mission - to harvest Science from Minmus, to build a Kerbin Orbital Science Station (KOSS) and get ready for Duna.

  17. Hello, fellow kerbonauts. I have a problem with one of my contracts, and this one is extremely well paid... The contract: -Enter and maintain proper orbit around the Sun for 300 days: -Orbit with at least 0.50 eccentricity ✓ -Orbit of at least 75.0° inclination -Magnetometer Scan data from low orbit above the Sun -Magnetometer Scan data from high orbit above the Sun ✓ -Radio Plasma Wave Scan data from low orbit above the Sun -Radio Plasma Wave Scan data from high orbit above the Sun ✓ I'm waiting to get to the low orbits to do the two last scans, but I need to know how to get into an inclined orbit like this. Could somebody tell me how that orbit looks? I'll manage to get there myself.

  19. Hello. I'm trying to launch KSP with some mods, and it crashes just at the loading screen. What's funny - I have 8GB of RAM, how'd it go depleted so quick? Here are the mods I'm using: -Aviation Lights, -Chatterer, -Collision FX, -DMagic Orbital Science, -Engineer Redux, -Final Frontier, -Firespitter -Hull Camera, -Kerbal Attachment System, -KAX (Kerbal Aerospace Expanded?), -Science Alert, -KW Rocketry, -Modular Rocket Systems, -NEAR, -Probe Control Room, -Procedural Fairings, -SCANsat, -Smart Parts, -Snacks, -Sounding Rockets, -Stage Recovery, -StationScience, -Tantares - Stockalike Soyuz, -Universal Storage (with Snacks and KAS modules), -USI allmods pack, -Vessel Viewer.   20. This is, really, one of the BEST LOOKING mods for KSP! I use it the most Also, I just love the Ballistic Capsules, and now I'm preparing for a Munar landing with the special Lander Can from this mod. It's an amazing mod!
  21. Today I launched a Rocket Pod into Low Kerbin Orbit, got my Kerbal Space Station as well into 150km 90° orbit around Kerbin and tried to launch a shuttle. Failed, luckily I launched it with a computer core and lazors
